Mephedrone Megathread

IV'd the stuff has an amazing rush, extremely short lived, I would say 10-15 mins. with subsequent shots lasting just as long. The comedown is IMO tolerable. the stuff reminds me of coke, short high, urge to re-dose, and ego boosting.

Shooting this is rather pointless IME. The high isn't that great and doesn't last as long. I only shoot if I need to conserve the stuff, as the dose needed is slightly lower and isn't as fiendy compared to insufflation.
 
UK perspective

Wow... I can see that I'm obviously the only person here from the UK. Maybe it's time to shed some light on the whole scene.

About 6 months ago no one I know had heard or done mmc (meph) then around november/december time everyone was having there first times on it. About 80% of the parties I go to someone has it and if no one does someone is always asking (I once got taken to the back of a garden where I thought I was going to be attacked by a very big guy only to find out that he was asking for meph). No one does E since about 2 years ago when it started drying up and a LOT of dealers got shoved in Jail. BUT fuck you everyone who says it's not worth it.

[edit] can get you a gram that's on your doorstep the next day. If you decide to go to sleep that night then that gram can last you the whole weekend. [edit] sounds good for me...

Laaastly, I've only ever done lines of the stuff because no one I know has ever bombed it and I haven't wanted to waste the stuff but I may try that this weekend. Either way, snorting it with the right people makes me happy, love EVERYONE there and speech increases in speed rapidly and once you run out of things to talk about you'll spill your darkest secrets if you need to to keep talking. The reason why it's so popular in the UK is that it's easy as fuck to get and the next day (unless you stayed up all night having it) you feel totally fine.

A few things that I hate about it though... gurning can be extreme (chewing gum can turn to almost liquid within about half an hour) and if it is snorted your nose will be bleeding for the next week and you will have to keep a box of tissues on you at all time if you want to be able to breathe through your nostrils. Oh and if taken with the wrong people it can cause you to be paranoid that they don't want you there and you'll end up taking more and more to try and stay happy when you'd actually be happier if you just stopped. Plus yes, it is very morish and sometimes hours can seem to pass within minutes.

ps. sorry this is off topic of meph in the US but I had to interject =D

Mephedrone is pretty popular in the UK... but it is going to be illegal there in a few months.

I have a couple friends in the UK, and hear its being cut to shit up there, unless you have a good connect.

It is still pretty unknown in the States, and in Canada... some people know of it, most people have never heard of it before.

Personally I liked it, but I feel gross only doing mephe for a night.

it's being cut to shit by the vendors? or by random dealers on the street? there's really no reason to by meph from a street (or party) level dealer in the uk. there are about a million online vendors that will deliver straight to your door the next day, and a lot of shops allow walk-in buys in person as well. i don't know why anyone would be buying their meph secondhand in that area.

most online vendors advertise purity rates of 99.8% and up - are you saying this is a bullshit claim? i guess it would be an easy enough scam :(
 
@Damien ahaa yeahh that doesn't make it sound too good but as long as you're with the right people and cut it fine then s'all good. Plus I forgot to mention that I have like a minor deviated septum (since birth not as a cause of meph) so I doubt anyone else will be as bad as me.

Woops about putting prices in... let's just say cinema tickets aren't the best thing you can buy with the money you have in your wallet =]

Oh and I heard about it becoming illegal in a few months but from what I've heard methylone's on the rise and as soon as mmc is turned into a controlled substance everyone'll just switch to methylone which is apparantly just kind of like a less potent form of ecstasy and no major speedy effects like meph gives you.

Ahaa, you want to talk about cutting it. I know a dude who almost had half his nose fall out because some total wanker cut it with glass and sold it to him (sounds too stupid to make that kind of mistake but if you think about it, finely cut up glass could easily look a lot like very pure crystals). But yeah, I know a lot of people who cut it with sugar and I know that the percentage on websites is not one to totally believe as I bought some definitely pure stuff off someone who bought from the internet (managed to get 1 gram to make 5 people fucked for most of the night) and then other sites claiming to be 99.8% just doesn't deliver as much kick. It's impossible to get it 100% pure so what? The other stuff was 99.9%? I doubt 0.01% purity is going to make that much difference.

Either way, the internet does seem to be the safest bet; once you find a good site... you're set =D
The main problem is that some sites simply take your money and don't send the product. And after that, there's nothing you can do to contact them. I know a lot of people who paid a lot of money to buy in bulk and the money was deducted but nothing just ever arrived. Hence why there are so many people on (UK based) forums asking for good sites.
 
There's a million vendors yes... I agree.

But there is a reason why some mephedrone is bunk... and some is good?

I'm speaking from vendors and street dealers.

I'm surprised that mephedrone has even gone to the level of it people needing to cut it... seems weird to me, but understandable.

But I guess they are going through an MDMA, and Ketamine shortage.

Also... so many vendors in the UK(and people who order from vendors) are getting their mephedrone stuck in customs. I know a guy who has had half a kilo stuck at customs for over a month.

Sure it is still legal, but I wouldn't recommend ordering from a UK vendor... and in a couple years probably not from a Canadian one either.
 
How does the addictiveness of the drug stack up to relatively pure cocaine? Do you feind like a 5 cent crack whore every 30 mins same way you do with blow?
 
Well obviously it depends on the person.

If a person has an addicting personality, then this person will get addicted to mephedrone just like they get addicted to blow, and other drugs.

But generally its pretty addicting I'd say. The high is about the same length as a coke high, and I find that if you do not continue doing it, then you just become so drained of energy.

I find it is a good drug to mix with.

For example: if you're waiting to come up on MDMA or cid, just do a line of mephedrone and skip the waiting process.
 
Drone in moderation with under a gram of oral dosing in a night can be amazing and a great value. I actually prefer to E since it can be so unreliable and 6-8 hours is too long of a high for me especially when it's dirty and cut with all sorts of crap. I get sick of it after 4 hours and just want it to end. that's why I like drone- 3 hours of high is perfect and it feels much cleaner than the E I have done. A 150-200mg oral bomb is perfect and if you put the rest away there isn't a huge urge to re-dose plus no come down. There is definitely a 2-3 hour afterglow where you feel energetic and talkative still which is kind of fun.


I really wish I lived in the UK right now, I would buy 100g of this stuff in a heartbeat before it becomes even harder to get and just ration it out for personal use to last me a long time. In the US on the other hand it is pretty damn hard to get any. I have tried like 30 online vendors and none will ship here, then I hear plenty of stories about shipments from the UK getting lost or stuck at customs on the way to the US. It's just too unreliable ordering from the few overseas sites that will ship it- I wish there were domestic sources for it. :(

i lived in the uk for most of last year, and while it definitely has its good points i think americans idealize/romanticize the place way too much.

in other news, i may have finally found a decent mephedrone supplier that ships to the states. i guess i'll know for sure if and when my order arrives. the key was to stop looking at vendors in the uk and try for something a bit closer to home :)
