No, if I was worried about getting heart problems I'd stop. I'm healthy, have a healthy diet, and my heart tests as healthy. I do a lot of meph.

The most common cause of chest pain is anxiety.

Your guess isn't a very educated one anyway considering you think your heart was able to heal itself, because you're young.

What you are describing are known as PVCs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premature_ventricular_contraction). They come about from taking too much of a stimulant quite often, so it makes sense that once you stop doing said stimulant they will die down after a while. You basically fecked around with the electrical signals going to your heart too much. The PVCs might have died down, but the only way to know if there was any real problem with the heart itself or it has created one or anything like that is to just go and get a referal to a specialist from your doctor. Just because the PVCs have stopped does not mean you shouldn't go and get a scan and an ECG done just to double check. It's probably nothing though. Which was my point, with the heart it is either a residual effect of the drug or your heart is or has been damaged, there is no in the middle with the heart mate. If the PVCs were just a residual effect it might have felt horrible, and might have been a sign of things to come, but they aren't proof of the drug causing any particular heart problems - just that the drug stresses it out, as would be expected.

apparently pro runners get scarring of the heart or something, or so i read the other day, i assume its due to the stress put on it, i would assume a stimulant high BPM would do the same, or worse. pre-ban used to make my heart rattle, the stuff after wasnt quite as bad, problem with me is i used to hoof it ontop of loads of booze. not sure what effects booze has on the heart... lower bpm i guess but not sure what else. maybe the two combined caused all the bad comedowns and shit. never done meph without booze

Palpitations are totally normal on stimulants, especially after a night of it. They can indicate a problem but, most of the time, they are just a symptom of elevated dopamine, nor-adrenaline and other neurotransmitters. Your heart can't heal damaged muscle, I don't think, but I'm sure it somehow adapts - people fully recover from heart attacks. Otherwise, anxiety can cause many heart symptoms, as I well know. Meph may just cause incredible anxiety in some. I do believe it's something more sinister, just due to the other visable side effects, and things said by very clever people on here. Someone needs to research these chemicals, but in a lab, with a subject.

Never attributed this to meph usage, but now that it's been mentioned it does sound like a similar experience to me when I think about it. I'm extremely sensitive to caffeine, despite being fine taking speed, etc.

Cold finger tips and a real weirdness with body temperature (feeling cold when should be warm etc, no balance ever always feeling hot or cold, never entirely comfortable) were the main things I and a few others noticed after meph usage. This did not go away for months.

Total rubbish. Why do people keep signing up and posting lies? If your body thought booze was a poison, you'd be pretty fucking ill. Booze will normally not really affect heart rate, unless you've had loads, then it will slow down. It can increase, at lower levels, as it does release dopamine and stuff. Booze with coke is another story, as it makes cocaethylene - which does put more strain on the heart.

I can't tolerate caffeine, and I have anxiety - another reason to support my theory that meph may trigger anxiety.

Meph certainly does trigger anxiety if you take too much, same as any stimulant would.

it does, it deffinetely made me anxious for weeks after. mild things would send my heart racing, i could get my heart to race just by thinking of an anxious situation sometimes

My wife sometimes gets a bit anxious the day after meph, but only sometimes, and only after a heavy sesh....and she mainly gets anxious the next night cos she can't fall asleep as her nose is feckered up and she can't breath properly.

No anxiety that's ever lasted more than that, a brief spell the following evening.

lol, is that anxiety making your heart race, or the meph, or anxiety about the meph making your heart race that then manifests itself as a racing heart?

MM, you seem to be in the 'lucky' camp. I believe it affects some people in a bad way (knees, heart, anxiety, blah, blah), but some people never get any issues from it. Some people are obviously just better at meph.

I totally agree Treacle, as I said above, peevee has no positive effects for me, just a whole raft of negative side effects.....

Meph is the daddio. I was gonna plug half a G, but then I rememebered some fucking cunts stole 4 needleless syringes from my draw; containing all sorts of cooler shit.

Took a 10mg Ambien after being up all night, it did fuck all. Cup of Yorkshire Tea and some minced beef and onion slices, now that's the ticket.

Not really, just more frequent and less of a binge type user than the rest of us. I think the fact that you do oral and anal dosing helps your case a bit, I'd guess most of the rest of us just sniff it.

I've never had any blue limbs etc but back at the height of my fiending I'm sure I've had a bit of vasoconstriction about the hands. PV was bad for the chest pains etc.

Oh i sniff it as well , but you're right, we always stop so we can sleep, no multiday binges, sometimes 2 nights in a row, but with a sleep, and a day of eating and drinking in between, I suspect this might be quite important.

I have had a bit of vasoconstriction in me toes, and little fingers, but never lasts, and I get it much worse on coke than I do on meph....and yeah PV gave me chest pains, dead arms, fucking awful for it, a lot of the symptoms some people describe as coming with meph use.
