Mephedrone Megathread VII: Misunderstood Marvels & Malingering Metabolites

There was a poster from Israel on SWIM-forum.com who was mentioning again how an estimated 500,000 people reguraly used meph in Israel for 5/6 years until the ban came in and reckons he's yet to come across or hear of one single death or even any serious side affects from all that usage.
 
Uric acid and cholesterol can form crystals in blood but, as I don't have any in-depth knowledge, I can't really say much more than that. I did think arteries furring was caused by long-term rather than acute conditions, but maybe mephedrone really does just fuck you up that much. My urine smells a bit different, I do wonder about any acidity it might cause now.

Didn't take any yesterday or today, because I got a fucktton of work to do and my body needs a break to be honest; I don't intend to take any more till mid-feb. Will see how that goes...

I can't believe that this alleged death was caused by meph crystallising the blood and stopping it flowing around the body. Not saying that meph wasn't involved, but I very much doubt that is what happened. Does blood even crystallise?

Regarding Uric acid, would that crystallise if your were extremely dehydrated?

Oh yeah, I doubt it as well. I was just trying to point out where 'crystallised blood' came from; it's not complete bollocks, just a bastardisation of something that's (probably) unrelated. I'm not claiming to be an expert or anything, but I thought cholesterol was mainly a diet issue and, honestly, I've no idea what causes uric acid [to crystallise].

I doubt blood crystallises, especially when it's still inside someone, but apparently there are crystals in it (if you're unfortunate).

I guess we just have to wait and see with this one, if meph was involved in any death it will eventually hit the press with force.

But, for fuck's sake - there are about 20 to 25 alcohol related death in the UK every single day. Fuck the press, fuck the Misuse of Drugs Act, it's all a manipulation and a lie designed to control aspects of society that generally go against the norms. You want to do meph, do it. It's bad for your heart - so are cheeseburgers, pints and cigarettes. Not to mention that these government twats that care oh-so-much about your future are doing sweet fuck all to stop absolute catastrophic environmental turmoil, the kind that might literally make you not want to live past fifty anyway.

This shit gets me down. If I ever take that final leap, it's going to be because of this kind of bullshit - nothing makes me more depressed than the hypocritical insanity that is pumped out every single day, shoved down our throats until we believe it or lose our minds.

Meph might be bad for you - but I GUARANTEE that there are five other things regularly in your lifestyle that are far far worse. Nobody gives a shit about them...
 
have you taken any vitamin tablets? odd smelling "glow in the dark" looking piss happens to me on high doses of B vitamins
 
I'm on vitamin b12 injections and I've noticed my piss smelling weird, nothing to worry about.
 
first time i had a berocca then went for a piss it freaked me the fuck out!!

Yeah I am on quite a few supplements. I guess meph gets let off for that, but I'm sure I'll find something else to blame it for!
 
My piss has been very strange on higher doses of meph . Smells very strange, very dark and almost has like shimmer on the top. The smell makes me feel sick. I don't take any supplements. obviously this is partially due to dehydration but the smell and strange appearance does concern me a little
 
Joking aside meph does seriously fuck with the heart. I used to be a gym 3 times a week kind of guy, but after hammering meph near daily for the best part of a month and a half, last week I got a headrush after my second set of squats, at a weight 15kgs lower than normal. Obviously I'm not blaming meph for this, ultimately it's down to me as the user (i.e. being a fuckwit), but if you do like your ticker, best limit usage as much as you are able.

As I said before; haven't had any past 2 days and I'm going to give it at rest now until at least mid feb. I have over an ounce of the stuff left though so I'll let you guys know if I succumb to my mental scourge.

I allways have this after taking MDMA, my piss is very dark and smell's very bad, i also do look slightly yellow after MDMA, never had those problems on meph but as they also appear on mdma i doubt those are dangerous side effects or something.
 
Dark piss usually means you're dehydrated. If you're well hydrated it should be almost clear?

That's a bit concerning. I hope your heart gets back to normal. I would lay off the stuff for a good while.
 
forgive me if this has been answered; but what if any reaction does meph have to the marquis, mecke and simons reagents? Does it test like MDMA?

And is it active in similar quantities? Is this something i need fear is being sold to me as MDMA? or would it be easy to tell the difference?

this could possibly be due to liver or kidney problems.

when this occurs do you notice a metallic taste in your mouth?

that "looking slightly yellow" is jaundice and is a sign of liver failure. Sounds liek you need to drink more water or lay off the MDMA.
