Mephedrone Megathread VII: Misunderstood Marvels & Malingering Metabolites

Mephedrone Tolerance

What are people's experiences of mephedrone tolerance? Do people get around it by taking bigger doses or do you simply accept that the high isn't the same any more? I've recently started taking around 300mg per dose as opposed to 150mg when I started.
 
^ I avoid all tolerance issues by only using meph on an irregular basis. Rather bizarrely a further consequence of this is lack of blue knees and no snare drum heart beat! ;)


Seriously though, it seems most folk just keep upping their doseage!

Yeah that's what I thought, but I was just curious since noones directly asked about it before... I'm kind of wanting to hear more from Codshit and other people who use this stuff a fair amount :).

Just one caveat, remember alot of vendors sell it in different states from crystal to flour like.....a line of floury Meph and a line of crystal Meph may look the same but are completely different mg and hence dosage.
 
I'm well aware of the variation in different batches thanks as I've been using mephedrone since August and reckon I've got through about 40 grams. I find the fine crystal stuff made up of little shards the best. I know use like that isn't too smart but, oh well, I'm not the type to freak out about my health. You definitely do develop a major tolerance seperate from batch variation.

So anyone whos been using drone on a similar basis and is still using it- how do you deal with tolerance?

I appreciate that. I have obtained meph from many many different vendors. I am a recreational user, only say 1g every other weekend. The batches vary greatly in strength and im comparing like for like here. One batch was partially insoluble because it all came flushing out my nose the next day and got barely any buzz off it. I've already posted on here about it before.

Thats really quite sad too hear that vendors are selling such varied batches.

Im just wondering to myself what is actualy worse...the thought of vendors cutting it intentionally....or the quality control that goes into checking what they are selling!
 
Taking into account how they all claim 99.whatever% purity, someones talking bullshit amongst these vendors then.
 
i complained to the vendor. I got a shitty reply. I carried on complaining and they offered me a refund. I don't think the vendor cut it, i just think it was supplied crappy. I know when i get good meph. It doesn't leave my nose all clogged up and gives a nice clean intense high.

This is exactly how we have found things - and I think between myself and my friends, we've probably tried about 10 different vendors. Now I have found one that supplies that crystal / shard stuff and it is by far and away the best stuff. No idea why, but it is! :)
 
I've seen batches that are definitely crystals but not shard crystals, more like tiny little glistening grains of sugar.

If anyone has had both, how much does this stuff differ from shard batches?
 
I couldnt tell between them tbh, i've only had one powdered batch that was obviously shit the rest of the different crystallys the differences have been hard to tell
 
Those who have reported mephedrone use leading to insensitivity to stimulants & psychedelics - has this sensitivity returned or not? If it never returns I guess that would suggest fairly conclusively that there damage has taken place.
 
I heard a few people had found that mdma (and I believe some other drugs too) were not working for them very well, after battering the meph for a bit. Almost as if they had just finished a course of SSRI's, where the downregulation of many receptor sites leads to mdma not having the same impact.

It was when I read f&b's post (first paragraph after the second quote) here that I remembered the discussion:

Lets hope its not neurotoxiticy but it makes sense, since there is absolutely no cross tolerance to meph after abusing mdma but after abusing meph, mdma's magic is gone.

I'm not taking meph again without deprenyl, ALA or anything else to prevent neurotoxiticy.

Maybe meph is just a government conspiracy to make us all non-responsive to illegal substances??! 8o

It certainly would have been the most successful weapon in the 'war on some drugs' thus far :|
 
Man I got stuck with the powdery type of meph this time. I have only had the small, clean crystal kind......does anyone know if the powdery kind is any good? It has a faint sweet smell like the crystal kind, but looks like cut coke :(.

On a side note, I have been bumping small bumps of dimethocaine before I rail meph to numb my nasal passages, and it works great. You don't even feel a burn from the meph like normal.
