Mephedrone Megathread - Second Line

I have had bad experiences the next day with meph ----heart pounding-restlessness--twitching and trembling--sweating--pupil dialation, but what made it worse is when I looked up serotonin syndrome---those are the symptoms. Also doen't this substance produce serotonin and if so why would someone try taking 5-htp. The fact is I really enjoy the stuff but I can't stand pacing around my room wondering if I should go to the hospital. Granted I drink like a fish when on stims and I am going to try to take orally next time (and order less or place part of my order in a place I cannot get to for a long while) BTW I read people take alot more than I do-but I am so scared of being back in that place telling myself that I will never do this stuff again.

If a bit short-lived, mephedrone has reminded me of what real drugs were like (back in the day when it were all fields round here). I'm in the same camp as those who are saying that the heart 'issues' are not issues at all but a product of taking stimulant drugs that work after years of taking basically shite stims. There must have been tens of thousands if not more experiments with this drug in this country alone and so far there have been no deaths nor no serious hospital cases I know of despite its potential for abuse with the lack of education about it plus its cheapness and availability. I also notice the prevalence of comments that say 'oh yeah I'd been drinking like a fish too' from some people who report their hearts exploding.

There's no such thing as a safe drug blah blah and I'm not making any judgements on meph's toxicity. But early indications to me are that short-term negative effects are neglible. And if you disagree with me that's fine, I'm not trying to diss anyones experience. If people really believe they have problems with the drug then the answer is to stop.
 
I am not hinting for information, just need to know if any UK vendors are still in business with mephedrone as not gatting any reply from 3 online vendors I have used in the past.
 
hoping the place i ordered from this time isn't a scam site. was hoping it'd arrive today but no luck... making me even more sure it's nonlegit.
 
One vendor took my cc payment for a few G's, even emailed me telling me it has been posted.
Few days later I emailed them to say it never arrived only to be told they had sold out :(

Last time I checked takig a stimulant increased your heartrate/blood pressure and not eating/stayin up all night/using up all your serotonin/dopamine made you feel shit.

Last time I took MDA I genuinly thought I had had some kind of chemical lobotomy thing happening, I felt retarded an lost the ability to say the word 'zone'.
I have been bed ridden for two days after taking lots of pills with flu like symptoms/thought I was dying. Had something to eat and I was fine.
All drugs are dangerous and there is always a price to pay for your fun.
 
The heart pounding is different to having a fast heart rate though, it felt like my heart was trying to escape and it did almost hurt. It was so loud it was competely impossible to sleep, very odd.
 
Bad experience with meph..

Okay, so early on Saturda afternoon (whilst at home) I bombed 250mg of meph. Long story short, I ended up doing an all nighter and consuming 2 grams over a 26 hour period, in 250 mg doses spaced a few hours apart. I always monitor my heart rate every so often, especially when judging whether or not I should redose. Pulse wasn't too bad, a little high but nowhere near as high as with other drugs.
By 3 pm the day after (about 26 hours after first dose), I didn't feel too bad, but I did notice a rather odd heartbeat, as if the rhythm was disrupted. It was. My pulse would shoot up, then slow right down...and this continued, until when, it stopped for a second, and then restarted again with a loud beat that I could actually hear ! When it restarted it hurt a bit too. This scared the hell outta me, so I spent the next 5 hours taking it easy on the sofa with my finger on my pulse, and a phone in my lap in case I needed to call an ambulance. For a few hours, I was really worried for my life.
Luckily since I was it the comfort of my own home, I wasn't doing anything that put any additional strain on my body.

The first time this phenomenon occured I'd hoped I'd just imagined it, but 4 hours later, it occured again - but by then my heart rhythm seemed to have recovered a bit (very little drug left in my system) and so I was somewhat reassured that I wasn't going to die.

The odd thing about the meph heartbeat is that it seems that it messes with the functioning of the heart, producing pounding beats rather than just fast beats. Something is off, it may or may not be the valve timing, but something isn't right, it also causes occasional pains.
I should also mention that I've never had any sort of heart problems that I know of, and there is no history of heart problems in my family. I'm also quite slim and reasonably fit.
So, thats it for me - time for a long, long, long, long break from stimulants.

Agreed. I think if your starting out the night by checking your pulse after every dose etc then you shouldn't be doing it! Obviously you will get paranoid if thats your mindset!
 
had to stop myself freaking out the first night i was on the stuff too. checked my pulse and it scared the beejeebus out of me and had to very quickly get my mind off it (not hard considering my attention span was about 10 seconds!) before i really started to panic. it was GOING it, haha!
 
The problem with meph for me atm is that i cant get the crystally batch atm so it seems a bit pointless buying any old shite! The other stuff is like the difference between lovely clean flake coke and a cut up repressed lump of lidocaine :\

That's what I felt and what has bee stated in the early pages of this thread. Nothing to do with you heart rate. This is a stim, and it is a natural reaction. I felt like I had a type of mild heart burn feeling the next days, and so did a friend of mine.

It is the very mild wierd feeling you get a day or two afterwards that worries me.
 
resorted to trusting an unknown vendor to get some in time for this weekend. now having the problem of hoping i haven't been scammed, let alone getting the lovely crystal again. fingers crossed i even get anything.

is there anything that can be done with the other stuff (never had it. i assume its the potent smelling yellow stuff) that can be done to make it more pure/get rid of the impurities?

That's a palpitation. I get those on stims, and even when sober. The speeding up and slowing down is to do with how you are breathing. I bet you can make your heart rate speed up and slow down right now, depending on how you breathe. I know I can.
 
Same ^ .. although it's alot easier to notice the difference when your comin down from some kinda phet..
 
I can tell you that any time in the past when I would do coke for days and drink on top of it then run out of coke I could just drink all the comedown away and end up feeling great and listening to music (drunk though). With this stuff I feel like drinking makes it worse and I have Never felt my heart pound as heavy. I asked before regarding serotonin syndrome---all the symptoms I have are exactly what a search comes to (SS) does this create serotonin or deplete it? if it depletes it then wouldn't 5-htp help with the side effects?

That'll be down to the high amount of ching he'd just done probably, combining two strong stimulants is gonna be really heavy on the heart. Like doing meth and coke together or something. Still worrying though, I'd have been the same in that situation.

I mean I've seen people do insane amounts of coke/Es/drink/etc all at once and never complain of heart issues, I wonder what it is with meph that makes people feel weird like this.
 
Thats why the cocaine is £50 a g and the meph is £10, good coke is obviously faar superior to mephedrone i would say..
