Mephedrone Megathread: Fourth Redose

I guess you were snorting it if you lost count of how much you took.
Have you tried bombing it before?

I also do not seem to get much euphoria off any of the batches of meph I have tried but I have a theory about that regarding my previous MDMA overuse.
 
I've been using Meph for the past 6 months or so, and i've recently found that the incredibly short half life when taken orally is beginng to be a real pain. When taken orally, im down from my peak and baselining after an hour or so, which in turn is leading me to redose.

Does anyone have a similar experience with the shortness of duration and can perhaps resolve this bugger?

Just recovering from meph. Sat. night out
Started at 12:30 and finished about 4:00 - 800mg approx spread over 4 capsules (self loaded with 'not great' weed scales). I redosed just after each peak to try and keep the buzz. Great nite until I wanted to chill and maybe sleep. I started sweating and my heart rate increased and this continued until mid morning. I eventually dozed off in a puddle of sweat and lost Sunday, waking feel physically reasonable at 07:30 on Monday today.
Since then I have felt like a complete planecrash on a propper emotional roller coaster.
Quantity wise I don't think I overdid it but my battered marbles say otherwise.
Anyone?
 
Hello all
Ive been using mephedrone for about the last month, in total ive taken around 2 grams in this time. Last week i bombed 250mg + 100mg about 1 hour later which was awesome but the day after i started feeling a weird side effect which is some pain coming from my lower right back which im thinking could be pain from my kidneys or stomach, this lasted for a few hours but faded. Last night i took the same dose as last week but today my lower back is hurting again. Been looking through all the megathreads but it doesnt seem dicussed much so i dont know its caused from the meph or somthing else. Has anyone esle had this problem? Thanks

Sounds familiar fella :) I sweat shedloads as I'm coming down, strangely. Emotional weirdness - really harsh comedowns - and the "zaps" (white flashes and a sensation of being electrocuted as I fall asleep) all kick in between 24 and 48 hours after last use.

I'm using too much though at the moment - between 1/2 and g per day for the last two/three weeks.

You'll be ok. Just take it as a lesson learnt (even if I don't) not to cane the granny out of it in future?

Yup, had lower back pain. If you've ever had kidney discomfort before, you'll know it when you feel it. You're uncomfortable in any position and the pain feels like pressure, or a bruise I guess.

I got it pretty badly after Global after no more than 1g of meph, but a sensible amount of water and rehydration salts, 12 hours' sleep and a good wee ;) sorted things out, and the pain hasn't noticeably returned despite using frequently since (see my post above)!

Yeap, I know. It's becoming chronically habitual now. Not good.

That said, I stopped smoking dead in April after almost 15 years at 20+ a day, and stopped the guice and ket dead when I decided to jack Ibiza in, so I'm just hoping my heart doesn't explode before I get a handle on it... And yes, I know; I'm a massive tool ;o)

Sorry to be a pedantic tosser here, but I don't believe Meph is even an RC. It's merely a new compound. If, however, there is research being done then I'd be interested in reading about it :).

Agreed - I'd be all over that like <insert metaphor here>.

F&B seems pretty convinced it's going to be a Fenfluramine-like 5H-T2b (is that how you write it?) agonist which'll lead to heart disease/that kind of range of disorders. Any thoughts?

Have also had WELL bad lower back pain pretty much coinciding with taking Meph. Felt something funny a few times then once like I'd really badly pulled my back after we were monging out and I went to stand up off my bed. Was so bad at the time I couldn't really walk or move properly at all. I thought it was the K which had let my muscles relax and caused me to pull something in my back but I had been on the Meph too for the previous few weekends.
 
These threads really fuel paranoia about meph :D Think I've come to terms with it now, snorting really sucks.
 
I had quite a bad nose bleed earlier, I think I'm gona lay off the snorting for a while.

That's how long it lasts - it's just a short-acting kinda thing and there's not much to do about that other than redose. Which has its own potential issues...

I don't think it's necessarily paranoia. Meph is a completely unresearched compound which seems to bear all the hallmarks of being potentially cardiotoxic so as there is no actual research being done on the effects we only have user experience to go on so far. The more it's being used the more people seem to be finding problems with heavy use in particular.

^ having said that it's been around for a few years now and I only know of a couple of deaths directly linked to meph so my guess is it can't be much more cardiotoxic than the standard illegal drugs
