Signs of a psychological addiction?

I wont go without thinking about mephedrone at least 4 or 5 times a day, even if it's just "Argh I could really do with a gram". I often dream and daydream of snorting drone with friends and on my own. I can sometimes get pretty moody if I was expecting to get drone for say a party and then there are no dealers available. I sometimes get very 'gremlin' like when it comes to mephedrone; for example when fiending off the tiny bits left in a baggy at the end of a long droney night.

I use Mephedrone 2-4 times a week depending on what's happening. On average I'd have 2-3grams in a 24hour session. Though this may vary depending on the party/club night, the purity of the certain batch and how quickly the party is 'coming up'. <3

I also get many nightmares, I've developed a twitch in my shoulders and ankles when lieing or sitting down for long periods of time. Don't judge me, I've been doing mephedrone for only 4 months but was on coke and amphetamines much earlier than that. I know the ins and outs like the majority of users.

I was just wondering if you think I'm addicted or not, as perhaps I don't know myself.

^^It has a cardiotoxic problems with use, but psychological addictions can be hard to beat...I know from experience with this one. If you think about using mephedrone more than a few times in a week then you could be considered addicted.

Sounds like you're addicted to me...

As for safety, it's probably better than coke by a small margin. It's worse than amphetamine, assuming the intensity of use is the same.

Whether it is physical addiction with physical dependency and withdrawals, or psychological, it's still addiction and it can destroy your life. One is not worse than the other. It seems clear as day to me that you have a problem on your hands and you would probably do well to get help for it instead of thinking that you can handle it all on your own.

You are also complaining of some strange health concerns. Get yourself looked at by a doctor and let someone know that you are having this problem with your drug use.

quote from wiki
BBC News reported that one person who used the drug for 18 months, in the end using it twice a week, had to be admitted to a psychiatric unit after he started experiencing hallucinations, agitation, excitability and mania.

Twice a week doesn't sound like that much too me. But then again doing various drugs almost everyday is normal for me...

Definitely cut back while you're ahead though. Addiction sucks.

I think it's psychologically addictive in the same way (but worse) as MDMA; the come down is so terrible, you just want more. This isn't helped by the fact most people insufflate it.
I experienced the nightmares as well.
