Been a while, been off the radar. Back once again, and I'd like to weigh in here, on mephedrone -
I've noticed a downgrading of quality since 2009, when I first started getting mephedrone. What started out as crystals of fairly high purity has now been reduced to very finely-milled powder that, under a magnifying glass, contains obvious cuts.
Despite the drop in quality, I must say I've never come across stuff that smells at all like fish (the methylamine smell as mentioned by poopstation). In my experience - which consists of doing the stuff over the past three years in about 20 of 1-2g sessions - all of the stuff I've had has smelled like a chemical salt, possibly sweet even, closest to MDMA and speed, which I suppose is no surprise considering.
I do also agree that is can be a dirty drug, when you have the urge to redose. This is why the missus and I keep our stash far away in our own personal Fort Knox. It's far away and under lock and key, and in now way accessible when we're fiending. Good Idea #1.
For all those who've had bad experiences, I understand but don't sympathise: get wise, or get wierd. I like the stuff, in small doses, it's great for connecting with people, it's amazing for sex and it's a great way to avoid doing cocaine.
