Mephedron and amitriptyline

Amitriptyline is an SNRI so I wouldn't risk taking it before, during or after unless it was a few days after. Too much risk of Serotonin Syndrome or other Norepinepherine nastiness ![:\](https://bluelight.org/xf/BL_Images/Orig_Emoji/wrygrin.gif "wry grin :\")

If you space your usage/days apart quite a bit with the two substances you should be ok, but as monsta said, Ami is an SNRI so make sure you have enough of a safe period in there so that no adverse reactions occur.

so even if you don't take amitriptyline EVER, you should still wait a few days between each? because i was going to take some elavil to knock me out, and i can't even remember the last time i took some as a sleep aid, but i'm getting my mephedrone tomorrow and of course was going to use it right when i got it now i'm not so sure. any thoughts?

My friend is in a similar scenario, he just scored 1500 mgs of Amitryptylin and has a g of Flephedrone coming in the mail (3-fmc).... He was hoping the effects would be synergistic but is afraid of the possible interactions. Did you try it? If so, are you still alive? Was it fun?
It seems to me that Mephedrone produces a surplus of serotonin and norepinephrine so wouldn't one be stretching your stash to drop some Ami a few hours before? Like preloading with 5-htp before dropping MDMA?
Wouldn't the stimulant effects keep one up nicely to enjoy the psychoactive (dreamlike) effects of the Ami?
Wouldn't the Ami be a good way to come down from the Mephedrone?
The sedating effects of Ami seem like the least interesting feature. I heard ppl say that MDMA and Ami were synergistic... (vaults of Erowid) and Mephedrone is most like MDMA....
Anyway im about to try Ami for the first time. Flephedrone in two days.

Most likely the amitryptaline will mitigate the serotonergic effects of the mephedrone, just as an ssri would, so that's a minus. IDK if anyone can tell you whether the combo is dangerous unless they have tried it themselves; amitryptaline has a whole bucket full of pharmacological actions...
