Everyone from both planes survived, only injuries were a few cuts to one of the pilots where the windshield shattered.

Holy crap! Even though you already said they all survived that gave me goose bumps watching that. As the whole thing played out I gave a big sigh of relief (that doesn't happen very often) when I saw them land safely. Great video thanks for sharing

If you're going to be in a plane crash surely a plane crash where everybody concerned is already wearing parachutes and most are hanging out the plane is the best option.

What I don't get about this is why were the pilots also wearing parachutes? You'd assume they weren't intending to jump?

Apparently "All skydiving planes are categorized under the utility category when the rear seats are removed....as per FAA regs, the pilot must also wear a chute in these conditions"
