menstrual delay

Hi there, i know MDMA can cause some delay in menstruation, but its now almost a month after expected period, took MDMA about 24 days ago. Pregnancy test is negative, but I wonder what's happening in my womb? Can I get TSS? What about ovulation, can I get pregnant if the old blood is still in there? I've been moody and pms-like for weeks, really just want to find some balance. I had a late period last time after mdma, but only by about 3 weeks.

Many, many things can cause a missed period. I've had 70 day cycles for no known reason. Stress, sickness, STD's, drugs, missed miscariage, and living with other women can all through your cycle off. You did not have a period because you did not ovulate. Before you ovulate, the "blood" inside your uterus is living tissue awaiting egg implantation where it will nourish a fetus. So yes, you can still get pregnant.
TSS is only caused by objects left inserted in your vagina (tampons, cervical sponges), so missing a period has nothing to do with it.
If you miss another consecutive period, you need to see your doctor. You will likely be sent for bloodwork, and possibly an ultrasound. You CAN be pregnant and have a false negative.
The doctor will also need to rule out any possible STD's, or thyroid disorders which are common cuplrits.

That being said, if you are taking drugs, and are not practicing safe sex and putting yourself at risk for an unwanted pregnancy, please think about it a little more. A child is a precious, precious little thing. Be safe.

MDMA does delay your period, drugs can fuck around with it in general. My partner was on her period once when she took MDMA and it stopped and delayed it for another month. Also during a mescaline trip once her period started two weeks after her last one... Really strange, I'd just wait and see if your next one is fine and then go to a doctor if not

I finally started seeing blood on Feb 4, which is 25 days later than expected. I anticipated starting on Jan 10. The date I took mdma was jan7, so that was 3 days before I expected to start bleeding. At that point I am sure I had already ovulated, so I don't know how it affected ovulation but it definitely delayed bleeding. This happened before, but not by 25 days, more like 16 I believe. So I guess it depends on when in the cycle I took it. For the record, I take drugs at home with my long-term boyfriend so stds and other risky factors were not at play. The late blood also seems darker and thicker than I usually see which makes me think it's just been sitting in there, that's why I was worried about tss...at any rate, my hormones have definitely been fucked for the last month...results vary but it seems this chemical always throws my cycle way off
