I have a friend and he cannot get a girl to approach him, they usually shy away at his presence. He says he has an ugly face. I think its because of the lack of confidence. How do I make him feel good about himself. How should he approach women
 
He needs to understand that most guys get rejected. So, the more confident guys don't let it get to them, and they pursue other women after getting rejected. It becomes a numbers game. A douche-bag type guy may still get around 1 out of 10. So, if he approaches a 100 girls a year, he gets around 10.... Not bad.

Just remember the more attractive a girl is, the more pickier she is usually going to be. Someone here is going to call me a sexiest, but this is probably about 95% right. You have to think, if a hot woman is a 10, about every guy in town wants to hook up with her. So, she can have a personal preference to everything. (e.g. height, career, etc.)

By the way, he needs to approach women, not them approach him. We're still living in the caveman days sort of. Women are wired to still want a man to approach them. Yeah, I know someone thinks this sounds sexiest, but its about 95% right.

Although I definitely don't agree with this guy's full post, this quoted part is pretty good. Basically, the more people you approach, the better luck you'll have. YES, you'll get rejected. So keep trying. If it works 1 out of 10 times, try 100 times, it works 10 of those times. As well, with practice approaching others, the percentage of times it "works out" will likely increase.
 
He should read love stories like "Dragonfly" or "I love you best friend". there is a ton of love books. so tell him to start reading one but let it be a good one. they give ideas of how to be romantic and sruff and increase self-confidence when facing girls.

Oh yes, confidence is hugely sexy! As well as a positive attitude toward life in general. Having an "ugly" face is relative.
While visiting my girlfriend, a guy friend that came along with us asked me privately, "Why is SHE with that ugly dude?! She is WAY too sexy for him."
I guess it's his confidence and outgoing attitude. He is also one of the funniest people I know. He may be a little much for me personally lol, in fact after a bit he gets on my nerves, but it goes to show you that not all women have the same idea of what makes someone sexy and approachable.
 
It's so much easier said than done but if you make a habit of approaching girls you'll eventually find someone who's interested. It's really complex but the main thing is whatever your friend is doing isn't working, he needs to do something different.

I used to listen to "the pick up podcast" a pick up artist podcast. I don't agree with some of the sketchy manipulative shit some of the dude's push. But without a doubt it's taught me what not to do and the general vibe I should use to convey myself.

Or a quote from Joe Rogan- "if you were a girl would you want to fuck you?" Some things you can't change but forget picking apart how unfair life can be, play the hand you've been dealt to the best of your ability.

It's kinda like exercising, it hurts, it's uncomfortable but after enough time if done correctly you will get results.
 
Man i no how he feels, i use to think that alot about myself which madee really quiet and very humble becuz i thaught i wasnt attractive so i never really made any new female friends, but i started hanging out with new ppl once i found a job n have plenty of female friends... just tell him to listen if they speek to him pay attention to the little things cuz they like that. After a while they will start to trust you and will tell you alot then b4 you no it one of them will find u attractive im tellin you man it works it just takes time n patience.
