So I know there's a million and one threads about MDMA use & memory loss, but I'm having a hard time finding what pertains to me.

Let me start off by saying I know that no drug use is wise, and I know that excessive drug use is very damaging. Telling me that isn't going to help or answer my question; believe me, I know.

I roll fairly frequently, 3-4 weeks in a row, usually taking a break for 3 or 4 weeks afterward. Sometimes I roll two days in a row.

However, I never take "high" doses. I think the most I've ever done at one time was three-tenths of pure powder. Also, I test everything I take, always. I do not take anything that's been cut with anything that EZ-test can recognize - just MDMA.

I also do not mix drugs. Once in awhile when I roll I might have one or two weak drinks, such as screwdrivers with a shot or less of vodka (pretty much because I'm not going to pay $6 for plain orange juice at a club). I don't smoke marijuana or tobacco. I rarely even consume caffeine.

I've dealt with memory issues since I was a teenager, due to stress & head injuries. My long-term memory has always been really sharp, and my short term fairly poor.

Lately, I've been feeling...well, off. But I can't quite put my finger on what's wrong. My memory is fucked, yes, but I really can't tell if it's worse than it was before I started rolling (less than a year ago). I DON'T feel depressed. I DON'T get comedowns -- I've had one, ever, and I can't even really blame it on MDMA use because of other "bad experiences" going on in my life at the time. I can't quite call it paranoia, either. It's just like...I don't feel right. I do feel like myself. But I feel like I'm unable to pay attention to certain things, like the fact that I have no clean clothes, little food in my house, etc. I feel that time is passing by very quickly - sometimes, even when I'm just sitting doing nothing.

Now, I haven't rolled in almost a month. I know that with frequent use, it may take longer than that to "feel normal." But I also don't know whether or not what I'm feeling/experiencing is due to MDMA use.

-- Is there anyone who DOES NOT use drugs other than MDMA out there?

-- If so, have you ever experienced this?

Every study about memory I come across is either based on heavy use (granted, several weeks in a row could be considered heavy use, but...) and/or involves smoking pot. I need something that DOESN'T involve that, because that obviously could be a factor, and I don't use any other drugs.

Thanks in advance.

If your feeling "off" as you put it then I would suggest that you abstain from all drugs for a good while..........at least six months, pay more attention to good exercise, good nutritous food (something which sounds a likely problem based on what you said in your post) and quality sleep of at least 8 hours per night always trying to go to bed at the same time.

If you dont notice any improvement or worse you feel worse then see a doctor asap because that would suggest to me it may well be something else wrong in your system.

Once again though based on your post I would first be looking at your diet.

i can't say that i'm a frequent user (3 times since late july at 50mg, 80mg and 160mg), but i can say that i don't do any other drug aside from mdma. i haven't had any of the memory problems you've been experiencing.
