Some days like today I sit here thinking of you,
and I wonder what might have been.
What would things be like had I told you how I felt sooner?
Why couldn't I let you go?
I guess the timing wasn't right,
and that's why you aren't here tonight.
It was a long hard road, but I succeeded in moving on.
So why did I start thinking of you yesterday after all this time has passed?
Are we to meet up again sometime soon?
Always when I least expect it do you pop up in my mind...
memories provoked by a song, or even just by someone talking in the same manner you used.
Will I forever have the memory of my first love in my mind as if it were yesterday?
Will that feeling ever go away?
Are you my true soulmate?
Is that why I can't shake the feeling that we will be together again someday?
Will the timing actually one day be right?
I can only wait and see...
I just wish I knew right now.

Nice poem...it brings back the memories of my first love that I just cant seem to shake. Love is a hard thing to let go of even when it seems like the right thing to do.

I believe whats meant to be is meant to be. If your meant for each other things will work out if not sooner or later youll meet your true soulmate.
