Glad to have you join us outside of lurker status. I've never been to India, but the Bahá'í House of Worship, aka the Lotus temple, located in Delhi blows my mind at how beautiful it is. For those of you have have never seen it:

welcome to bl TO LIVE- Indian has an amaing cjlture and history, which ,correct me if im wrong , has become very westernised in the last ten years..despite the 13-15 different indian dialects, english is almost compulsory and a uniform language....
Do they still have bhang that they sell in government shops?? I read about them in high times,an old one... Think its balls of hash rolled in sugar.....mmmmmm,bhang.

Yea dude India is no longer that 3rd world country it used to be, of course being huge and diverse there are still parts that a completely rural or even natives. But mostly it's a country with a great example of juxtaposing of cultures and religions living in harmony. People are well versed in English and highly accomplished in almost every field. Now even the recreational culture is picking up, u tend to see lot more youngsters choosing careers in party n event planning and other fun n passionate occupation choices.
