well future screws us again.....can anyone hardly be suprised though?? i mean really....we shouldnt get our hopes us too much for vitalic cos they will probably screw us over with him too :X

but nice to see samuel l sessions added to the lineup, when he played here 2 yrs ago (i think?) @ yaki it was a very rockin' night :) but then again lets not get our hopes up....

oh p.s - does anyone know if picotto is playing a trance or a techno set, cos last year he was gonna do both....
 
^^^ apparently his sets of late have been mainly tech (even more so since last year), so i'd say it'll be techno...someone more informed will probably have a better idea than me though ;)
 
Chris_On_E: can you please not only leave this forum, but dont come to tribes either, go to zos or something that night ok?

syntech: knobs like this chris character are musically unintelligent, techno can not only be the toughest or funkiest genre out it ends up being the only music that you can tell a story with. Definately with ya on the PFFFT!!!
 
im not claiming at all that techno is not hard, i do agree that it has much variety and can have some fucking tough sounds, however i enjoy listening to music with the majority of it being a hard sound.

i wasnt trying to have a go at techno or anything like that. im not claiming to b a genious of the genre's of music either, cos im certainly not. i thought ppl wld get what i meant.

i'll try again...will any of the international dj's playing at two tribes be playing a set of hard dance\trance\house?

^^ there will be hard trance from a few i am sure, seeing as it is such a huge/popular genre thesedays....as for hard house, i see no one yet who fits that, which personally i am dissapointed with.....

But perhaps some locals will help with that (ie, Kelsta + Benny)

Wow, so many techno elitists it hurts.

I personally dont enjoy techno, the music does nothing for me. And before I get flamed, yes I have made the effort to listen to it and I am always open to hearing something that I do like.. but as for now I'm uninspired.

Its a bit of a pity for me tho, coz it sounds like a majority of the acts at 2T will be playing tech sets and seeing as I have a tendancy to fall asleep (quite literally) whilst listening to said techno I'm not quite as enthused about 2T as I previously was....

I think I'll be making up my mind on this one a lot closer to the event.

stacyrox: I will be the first and maybe the only one who knows, anywayz can I ask what genre inspires you? And dont worry I will be by all means ready to laugh. If techno cannot inspire you then you not only have no idea about music itself but it seems you are one of those little candy ravers who go out to get fucked on stuff rather then go for the respect of music.

I aint saying everyone has to like the genre but by the way you put it you HAVENT heard techno properly even though you say you have, you should come to 2 tribes not to have fun but maybe for a lesson in music :)

Check out Renato Cohen, Picotto, Green Velvet who most likely will be the ones playing the nice tech, hope I am not being too forward, I am sure you do rock girl, so why not go and I am sure you will have a smile on ur face.

Take it easy, techno is good, nay, techno is great.

But it's not for everyone, some people just don't click with it, and i'm sick of people demeaning others because they don't like techno. For fucks sake, it's just music. I love nearly all sorts of music (nearly), and I can see past my own ego to the positives in most other genres of music. How would you feel if I said you know nothing about music because you haven't heard good psy trance? To be honest I reckon psy could teach the techno community a lot (go knows both genres have more than their fair share of elitists).

It is possible to not like techno, and that doesn't make someone ignorant or a drug-pig, all i means is they don't like techno. Think about it, techno is harsh, abrasive, usually very repetitious, and to some people, this can be boring.

You have not heard psy trance, you know nothing about good music, you nead to get educated, techno does not take you on a journey, you close your eyes and feel like your in a washing machine on the highest setting, wow what a journey, if psy-trance doesn't inspire you then you have no idea what good music is and you must be one of those techno eltists who wears fuck off i'm dancing t-shirts and who only goes out to beat up kandy ravers, pick up female techno elitists and to kick it by themselves front row centre.

I'm still pissed about Beyer but the main reason I'm going is because of Vitalic and if they screw him over I won't be happy well not happy doesn't cut it I will be in the mood to hurt who ever stuffs it, but I'm thinking positive *breath*

Vitalic @ I Love Techno ' 03 - Now I'm pumped and I still have to wait over a month *sighs*

God you people make me laugh, especially at the mention of "Techno Elitists". Actually I seem to find that people that like all different genres seem to bag all different types of music, it's just one of those things that happens..

Anyway there's still BT playing, and he's well worth seeing.

Can you people stop flaming each other and/or music tastes. If you aren't talking about the event or artists in some sort of direct way then DON'T POST in here.

Please keep this on topic. It's about Two Tribes as an event and the people playing there.

any ideas/preferences on local talent (other than the obigitary Midro close :\), and ideas/preferences on artist set times (ie: what time of the night would it be perfect for Vitalic to play)...

EDIT: Just checked the Sydney TT thread and listed there is the room names, room line ups and the Sydney locals.....i dunno where to find this info for Melbs as it hasn't officially been released yet to the best of my knowledge (but then again future hasnt announced on their site or the two tribes site that Beyer isn't coming, dickheads)...

The rooms, which should be roughly the same for Melbs, minus the locals, are:
