Why is FaTz in charge of this?

I don't mean this as an insult, I'm just curious as to why it's not everyone's decision? Why is everyone supposed to wait for when it's convenient for FaTz?
 
well im more than happy to let someone else take the reigns and organise, but thats just me :)

i reckon we do italian, like a really awesome proper italian place on lygon street with gelati. yummy :)

I'm keen for something a little different too --- my suggestion is still on the table [African / Ethiopian]. :)
FYI, Stupid jokes about Ethiopian cuisine make baby Jesus eat people's heads.
 
Actually doppel I'm not in charge of it at all, I just have the spreadsheet of everyone else's idea's at work...

If you read back I said I'd do the organising of the place's i.e. bookings, if everyone gave a cuisine or a place they'd like everyone to try.

Or you can't remember that far back?

Well what is everyone thinking this time as in day wise?
Maybe we could have a dinner thing this time and go out afterwards?
 
Assuming people do actually go out afterwards (say to a pub and get blind drunk) as opposed to saying they will, and then heading home, I'm keen for that to happen.
 
I like KKs suggestion of Italian (+gelati) on Lygon.
N especially the one bout going our after for drinks :D


Don't forget my suggestion for the highly-classy Parma....I should find out the exact address of that place that had written on the window best parma as voted by that website.....where they rate parmas all over Melbourne....

I dont think anyone really expects a bunch of cracked out bluelighters to actually have the ability to organise a schedule without someone coming in and taking control...its going well so far and lets face it, no one appreciates food more than Fatz.
 
MP and i had some awesome mexican last night (Coyote Cae on Nicholson St).

they do $2.50 tacos and $3 mexican beers on tuesday nights and it's awesomely tacky and great.

i say we go there one night and someone messages me and tells me when to turn up! :D

Sorry my introduction was fleeting as i ran out the door to work. Im not good with intros :/

The food looked great. Pity you had to wait so long for it. Will be at the next meet to. Possibly eat this time aswell.

Alibi Room in Brisbane has $2 Tuesdays: $2 tacos and $3 margaritas, it's a great, great thing! :D Highly reccommended!

I don't think anyone is claiming the MF[A]P's organisational skills are up for an interstate field trip just yet ;)

I can cheefully attest to the Coyote cafe's deliciousness and coolness.
From the authentically (and when I say authentic I mean tex mex authentic, not central america authentic) dressed 'family' of staff members, to the divine food (contemporary twists on old favourites!!!) to the delectable cocktails....

let's just say I left a happy girl and though it was 2 days ago I still have barely eaten anything today...(slight exaggeration, but seriously, so huge!)

VOTE 1 COYOTE CAFE!!! =D

(plus it's literally 4 or so stops away on my tram line! whoo!!!)

I vote a friday/saturday night so that peeps can get trashy. I like trashy! :D
