^ suits this little black duck just fine FaTz....upon further review it might be a little too much to ask going out for lunch after Belfast, I dont seem to bounce back from big nights out as well as I used to..
 
actually glad it's now not on this weekend. I gotta get this big nasty Q thingy for uni done :( Also mite be parting with a fair amount of money in the next day or so, hopefully haha ;) so spending little this weekend in prep. for the one after is ideal. However it's my friend's extended bday party that weekend so I'll have to see how I fare cash-wise and recovery-wise in regards to my attandance...
 
again with the work on saturday thing. suxor.
unless its a night-time or not on saturday i wont be there :(
but have fun and eat lots of mongolian beef for me!!
 
I'm losing interest with all this ridiculous talk of lunchtimes and Sundays. Where is everyone's party spirit! :D

But don't mind me, I have limited weekends available from now until the wedding anyway. Carry on!

Everyone keeps fucking piking, way too many PM's saying "I cna't make it that w/e, i've got other plans"... well fuck...

September 16'th then? That's the ONLY w/e i havn't had people say that they're busy on..

Guys: With something like this, I really wouldn't worry if only 3-4 people can make it some weekends. Other weekends there might be 10+ but it's one of those things that should just go on, regardless of number.

Otherwise it won't continue anyway... you'll all realize it's too much effort and lose interest.

Gaylords is a bit shit, the rice is nasty, the curries are bland, and the decor is weak cliched whitey fare. (napkin draped dusty plastic plants anyone?)

Flora (accross from Flinders st Station.) is much closer to the real thing, the food is cheap and excellent, actual Indians eat there and except for the streetscape, it actually looks like alot of resturants in India. The Masala Dosa is awsome, and they play Bollywood films!

Kata da Hata on Lygon st is cool too. Some say its not the glorious place it once was, true, but it oustrips the lame fare Gaylords is dishing up without even trying. Nicer then Flora if you want to take somone on a date, and does decent takeaway.

Still the inuendo of 'Gaylords' is irrisistable, which makes it kinda worth it if you just want a drink in the city and a bit of tasteless decor to giggle about.
 
^^ I've never been there (I live in Brisbane) but last year my husband and I were in Melbourne for my birthday, and we went to dinner at a great Chinese Restaurant. They had cards for Gaylord there, and i loved the name so much (yes, i'm very immature, it reminded me of primary school) I took a card and it's still on our fridge. :)

I don't mind trashy/tasteless decor, but if the food is crap, count me out. :\

Anyway, enough about that, back to the clusterfuck that is trying to organise you guys in the one place at the one time. ;)=D

We're going to a concert Friday night before the proposed gathering but could possibly make it on the Saturday, depending on how fucked/scattered we are. Just make it that weekend Fatz, just dooo eeeet.

We could do sunday brunch this weekend if people interested arent too fucked up/scattered/busy with having a life.....
