Its not like you solely bought your ticket to see Rother is it? Suck it up people...Shit happens, suck it up and take pleasure in everything else...Hate future all you want, maybe Rother just didn't want to come - ever think of that? OR MAYBE HE REALLY AND PLAINLY IS JUST ILL!!!! I think that if Future was advertising that he'd be there when they hadn't booked him, he might have something to say about it...A few thousand fans expecting him to be somewhere he never wanted to be can't be good...I think he was booked, but just got sick...Get over your conspiracy theories about future and their evil plots to sell more tickets...Rother just fell ill...Shit happens...At least Prodigy are still coming and all the other big acts, so stop sulking over it and grow up - yeh you guys were excited, but you still got a good night to look foward to...

Its just sad how some people just complain so much about it when everyone else is hyping up for it. Do people actually realised the work involved to organise such big events with all these international? Hellooo... they are not local acts!!!

However, I would understand if 1 of the DJs pulled out from a smaller event with only 2 or 3 internationals. Then I will be furios, but this is an event with over 10 internationals....

Like people always say, you can never satisfy everyone. In such big events, organisers have to try to wait for confirmation from all the DJs whether they are able to perform. While waiting for confirmation... it could lead to news about who and when DJs are performing being delayed.... and because of that.. people complain about news for such big events not being released soon enough to the public (such as DJ times for Melb). Get over the complaining guys, I'm sure you will still have a great night...

well i bought my ticket based soley on the fact that i would get to see rother and hawtin. i might not have even bothered paying $90 if hawtin was the only one i really wanted to see.

Two Tribes in Sydney was shit.

Eg: Sound problems in the main arena.The sound cut out during The Prodigy's first song.They then didn't appear again for approx. 45 minutes.The sound also fucked up during other sets such as Armand Van Helden's.

I didn't get what I payed for,that's for sure.I felt ripped off!!!!!

Have fun Melbourne people ,cause I didn't in Sydney.

I had the best night of my life at Two Tribes! Even though the sound cut out for The Prodigy, it was totally worth the 45 minute wait for them!!

I mean, god damn. The Prodigy was fucking awesome. I was at the very front for the entire set! I got to touch LeRoy %)

Zandesh,I had pretty much sobered up by the time we got to Two Tribes(Yes,still drunk,but NOT heaps.).It probably would have been better, if I was still really drunk

How many pills did you have again Zandesh? Must have been enough to think this was a good party .

Let's see:-

*Sound cut out at least twice(Didn't see the whole set,but heard from others afterwards it cut out more ), during Kid Kenobi's set.

*Prodigy started late,sound cuts out during first song.Prodigy leaves stage.

*We then get silence for a bit,then lame modern style elevator music,poor ol' MC Losty forced to the stage to say sorry about the delay(A plastic bottle someone chucks,just misses him.)

*Pee Wee Ferris then DJ's for the mean time like nothing happened.

*After approx. 45 minutes The Prodigy come to the stage.A shame the sound was too distorted,NOT just loud.

*I leave after seeing a few songs by The Prodigy(for the money we payed,the sound should have been near perfect,NOT near almost unlistenable) and go see Grandmaster Flash.

*In the 'Future Breaks' room where Grandmaster Flash he comes on late,because SHOCK HORROR: Sound problems because the DJ mixer had to be plugged in and out again and again.Silence for about 5 minutes.Makes me think I'm at a party put on by first timers .

*During Grandmaster Flash's set(Alright set,but he wouldn't shut the fuck up during the set,you'll most likely experience this in Melbourne.He talked during and in between songs,even stopping the music to talk.)),I go back to Main to see Armand Van Helden.

*Have a dance to Armand Van Helden.Sounds good, then SHOCK HORROR sounds cuts out twice.He also fucks up three mixes badly or was it more the equipment - Who knows??? This sucks so I go back to see Grandmaster Flash.

*Finally,I go to the 'Renaissance' room to see Junior Sanchez.SHOCK HORROR: The sound is actually perfect.A shame NOT many people in the room,NOT much of a vibe.I have a dance.Junior Sanchez played a great set of funky & progressive house.Flawless mixing and saw Armand Van Helden behind the decks watching Sanchez play.

*After Junior Sanchez(My fav. set for the whole night ) finished.I decided to head home.

Overall a shit party with way too many sound problems.I feel ripped off for the amount I payed.That was my FIRST Two Tribes and most certainly my last .

but similar things hav happened down here, not to that extreme but nevatheless it has happened....just last year during BT's set the power went off, he actually thought it was his fault, thought he'd knocked the power cord out with his ass, turns out it was just a power failure...

i must admit though that i do expect top quality by future from these big events, they've being doing them now for over 10 years so they should be pretty polished at it by now....

Excuse you, but am I bitching about a certain DJ not being able to make it? Am I telling Future to die? NO...You bought your ticket so yeah, you have a right to be there...Do you have a right to bitch and moan like a 3 year old kid whose parent wont let them get 2 lollipops coz they can only get 1? NOOOOOO How old does everyone have to be get in there? At least 18? Does buying a two tribes ticket give you the right to act at least 15years your junior? FUCKIN NO....

I'm telling everyone here to suck it up coz its over only ONE DJ...ONE!!! There are so many others to see so you should cut your losses and quit moaning...Seriously, if you don't like Two Tribes, go to Infected Mushroom instead...Just god damn quit bitching coz its getting really really fuckin old this KKE complaining abot 1 DJ...Yeh, he's sick...Deal with it...Bitching and moaning on Bluelight about it wont bring him here and it just damn well pisses a whole lot of other people off who just want to talk about Two Tribes itself, not bitch and moan about Future arse-raping them again...

wacky- that sounds like you had a shit experience....sound problems is always something that happens...it happened @ speedy j two or three(?) years ago, sound was so soft that you could stand right in front of the speakers and talk at a normal level...and i think it fucked up at BT last year too, but that may have been planned..for a "build up?" not sure.....
