Melb - Two Tribes - Melbourne Park - REVIEWS

I was under the impression Leeroy would not dance there given that he's not with them anymore...

Are you sure they aren't actually playing anarky? Why would they do a show at metro three days earlier and then not appear in person at Two Tribes?
 
mmm_biccies, they are playing, but they will simply play records. And that's what we get. But in Perth and Adelaide, they're doing a live set, which mean's they will be "twiddling knobs" as MoeBro put it, use synth's, other production programs and be playing their own original songs. If anyone's seen one of Lab 4's or Nick's (NFX/Krog) sets you'll know why a live set is so much better. :)

The flyer says "The Prodigy LIVE" So why wouldn't they be playing live?

yeh well if the prodigy weren't playin a proper live set in melbourne like everyone thinks they are then ppl will get pissed off and it'll be like that year when picotto and tiesto pulled out of TT and ppl might ask for their monies back
 
^^ He's right tho anarky, think about it...no matter what little shady details the flyer or site might say, Melbourne is the biggest of the lot....pretty much twice as many people will be there as in adelaide or perth....that combined with the fact that Future is based in melbourne, as is Mark James, head of Future, I dare say melbourne will be getting the top notch.

Oh yeah and Sydney? Do i care?

And all of my pay is already gone.

I'm seriously considering going it sober this time around - I can always get high and listen to their respective sets at home

MoeBro.. i reckon go sober.. the acts are mad and probably do justice listening to them straight when you can appreciate the music better

IMO moe i would go sober. :)

Prodigy will put on an awesome set! i wish i was going to see em just to see their set design and shit. Whether they are twiddling knobs or playing records wont make that much of a difference (imo) the crowd will be what makes Prodigys set kick arse or shit.

i would just be glad they are turning up. the arena change isnt to much of a fuck round. just a bit more of a walk ;)
 
when i saw the prodigy at the big day out in 2002 they put on a killer set and keith and maxim were going nuts runnin around the stage, the sound quality was really good aswell and so was their live band.

Anarky - is the difference between knob-twiddling and a proper live set much different or will it all still be very good? I noticed what you were getting at, Adelaide and Perth get a Live thingo, but Melbourne and Sydney don't...Maybe they're scared of messing up infront of a big audience or something?

Melbourne is 8oHUGE8o compared to all the others - I never realised. No wonder people travel to be at it...Ohhhh I'm so excited my tummy is starting to hurt =D
 
I miss big fuckoff parties - runnin around - getting lost - bumping into randoms - gonna be great!!!!

Although in saying that I'll probably be setting up camp in the Hardware room for most of the night.....mmmmm Rother!

hahahahahahaha wtf its the prodigy we are talking about they have played big festivals infront of thousands of thousands of ppl, two tribes will be a walk in the park for them
