[MELB] SUNSHINE PEOPLE [REVIEWS] - NYD 2006 - Atlantic South Wharf

yeah you do kinda have a point there Psyentist. My particular rock is full of real world responsibilities these days, not so much time to keep myself in the loops realms outside of reality and responsibility.
Think it might just be great to shake off the beige of everyday life and knock back to the colourful world of music.

^^^congratulations. I guess I could be further out of touch, at least i eventually realised what was going on. Better late than never ;)

Must admit there isn't much else at the event that interests me apart from Richie Hawtin and Magda and locals Dave Pham, Mike Callander and Gavin Keitel. But hey tix are pretty cheap for such an event and will be good to catch up with mates who still stuck on phat pants and hard trance.

Mike is great, and the Minus guys are going to be something special!
 
Hmmmm T'has been a while since I went out to party. Time to dust off the phat pants and come on down. Cant be fuzzed with summerdayz and all the meat head wana be's with their coked up ' I own the world attitude show me how big your muscles are' attitude.

*ahem* Sorry started to rant... where was I?

Oh yes. Comin don. I think I'll drag Glow Gurlz along too. Yes... and some other poor souls too... yes... a plan is forming.

The decision to make is, phatties or not.

Judging by my recent outings, will probably spend more time with house/electro than trance and hard dance :P

i'ma heading down for this and belfast... me and the girly and a good mate have got an apartment on the docks so we'll stumble down here after a bit of a kip... have a breakfast consisting of beer and head out! should be LARGE
 
Can someone please tell me *exactly* what this hard dance tripe is? I'm feeling very much out of the loop here and am wondering what this new genre is that seems to have come up in the traps back in sunny Melbourne.

so is there ample seating at this event? all i really want to do on nyd is kick it in the sun and listen to good tunes......i can tolerate ravers, but i don't want them stomping around me all day. Oh and what's the deal with the boat? i could see myself cruising on that all day too.

It's pretty much NRG and fairground music.

But who knows, there is always a chance to learn to love something I didn't know.
