The circus is back in town for one very special indoor night, with a rock solid international and interstate psytrance lineup.
Lineup:
RUBIX QUBE [Live] (Disasterpeace Records, South Africa) - First time in Australia!
Rubix Qube has quickly become one of South Africa’s most prominent and esteemed Psy Trance producers among locals and internationals.
His music is versatile and grasps a variety of fans for night sets and early morning festival dance floors. He already has numerous international releases on labels such as Timecode, Vision, MMD, Digital Psionics and Disasterpeace itself, while his highly anticipated debut album is now availible for purchase on the Disasterpeace website. Everything about this producer’s live shows are pure enjoyment and energy, be there as he hits Australia for the very first time.
BIORHYTHM [Live] (Disasterpeace Records, South Africa) - First time in Australia!
Biorhythm is the brainchild of Rubix Qube, Lunar and Crypsis.
Based in Cape Town they are an explosive live act and perform through powerful, high end quality production. Over the last 2 years they have moved their production skills onto the dance floors, and have quickly been snapped up by some of the biggest South African Production companies to display their live show. With a debut Album coming out on Disasterpeace Records in late 2009, this brainchild can only progress.
Tantrum [DJ] - (Nexus Media/Digital Psionics, NSW)
Tantrum is DJ/Producer Alex Richardson from New South Wales Australia. Alex first discovered his passion for psytrance & electronic music in 2000 after being introduced to outdoor “doof” parties in the hills surrounding Byron Bay. After a few years of attending these parties Alex’s interest in party production & djing started to take hold. In the summer of 2002 along with several friends he created Loony Tunez Productions & began holding parties across Northern NSW & Southern Queensland, hosting some of Australia’s & the world’s finest producers & djs. It was at these parties that Tantrum began to DJ more & more, feeding his passion to continue his journey into the “doof” world. As time progressed he gained more experience behind the decks & he now djs at parties & festivals up & down the east coast of Australia, including Earthdance, Royal Doof, Earth Freq, Quantum Relic, Earthcore, Secret Sessions & many more. Tantrum is known for powerful, twisted Dj sets focusing on twilight & dark psy trance & his journey’s have seen him play along side artists such as Digital Talk, Electrypnose, Shift, Artifakt, Twisted System, Xatrik, Phyx, Pitch Hikers, Slug, Hydraglyph, Painkiller, Dark Nebula, Psywalker, Green Nuns of the Revolution, Psyboriginal, Chromatone, Tsabeat, Hefty Output, Nexus Crawler & many more. Tantrum is currently label DJ for both Nexus Media (South Africa) & Digital Psionics (Australia) & has recently compiled & released Psionic Force on Digital Psionics, which also consists of two vs tracks with Electrypnose & Dark Nebula. Keep your ears out for Psionic Tales 3 compiled & mixed by Tantrum...due for release early 2010.
