Course it's real =p I'll be coming with 4 other people and with any luck some more of our Mates will join us.
Wr r gonna meet at flinders quarter to 12 then get tram down to the park.
Anyone else got a picnic blanket they can bring?
Recommend eskies for ur drinks too but I'm sure you've considered such
Beer and Grainwaves n crackers n dip>> wine n cheese for moi me thinks..
 
I've got heaps of blankets - I can bring a couple :)

I have no esky though.
And I'm thinking of whipping up some savoury and sweet muffins to bring along :D
 
Cool, thanks. Muffins ey Ooh sounds delicious. Actually speaking of which I've got a cudo voucher for a dozen mini cupcakes I still haven't redeemed maybe I should try organize those. To pick em up in Degraves St before we meet would b easy. Might be too late notice tho I might investigate.. (will let u know if I'm successful Esz then u can stick to savory delights if u please)
32 degrees chance of Showers in the arvo- perfect weather for a picnic (we'll just ignore the last bit ;) ) and the big tree will provide some shade
 
I picked up one of those insulated cooler bags you get from the supermarket to take your frozen goods home in last night to put some ice and drinks in when I get to the city.

If you can think of anything I can bring then let me know.

Oh yeah those do the trick. I got one I think actually.. Also got another soft case cooler with strap so they r prolly easier to carry around than an esky. Can get some ice on the way (then we'll

Glad to hear preorder wasn't reqd. With the cupcakes given it will be before midday. Cupcakes mmmmmm

Yay that you could get your mini cupcakes missgoody2shoes! they're from Little Cupcakes yeh? Those are pretty awesome.

I've got a cooler bag too - gonna see how much booze I can cram in it. Might have to bring wine for its economical carrying abilities - You can get more smashed off 3 bottles of wine than a 6 pack of beer and the wine is easier to carry. I shall bring a Rose, maybe some moscato and a red (or two).

If the other half wasn't struck down with a throat infection, then we probably would make it for a little bit, but he is seriously wiped out. And i just feel like i haven't stopped for about 2 weeks straight. Sorry guys <3
 
Enjoy, was thinking of either coming down with the family or for a ride on the bike my myself, we used to live 10 min walk from this location but moved to be closer to our families in Geelong. And now we organised to go to Torquay beach with some mates for a day trip. Definitely won't be heading in which would suit the murpheys law thing. Living 10 min walk away == us not going to any of the event(s) yet move 1-2 hours away and we actually turn up to one. ;)

This. It's been a huge few weeks for us all (we've spent half of it with these 2 crazy characters <3) and yeah, it's time to chill for a bit. I'm not well myself at the moment with some crazy David-Bowie disease and we also have someone moving in with us for a short while, this weekend.

Have a great day though, it's set to be a cracker. Lady Melbourne is really going all out for us weather-wise! :)

Thanks everyone for a good day. Goody was good to catch up with you and the other half and meet your friends and Kitty! Looks like we had a good day as it was a bit miserable up my way today.

Bit hazy on what happened after we left the park but hope you guys kicked on in style. Quick trip home for me. Slept all the way! :D

Dare say we will meet again in a few weeks!

sorry again we went ahead of yaz when we left the park pacman and didn't end up catching up beyond it. see you at Rainbow tho ey- we got two tix for $350!! :D (after I bought two on ebay for $380!! but Vanja and Ved who joined us at the picnic are buying them off me)
 
wish i had made it for park time, but was great seeing those i did.
