[MEGA] Vaporizers Thread

Received one of these in the mail the other day.
So far i have found it does the job nicely in comparison to a few other vaporizers i have tried recently.
I need to pack it up two or three times to get a satisfactory high but when i do reach that level it is greeeeeat.
 
^ i own that one too! have had it for like 2 years and still love it. but you should change the screen and scrape out the resin from time to time, because eventually it will plug up the vaporstar. you can smoke or vape that stuff again btw, it is like ultra-sticky hash with a roasted smell, nothing like smoking bong resin (which i would never do).

do you have a really high tolerance? when my tolerance is low, i'll only pack like one fourth of the bowl, take 3 hits and get high like a kite^^. with high tolerance, i'll pack it to 3 fourths and will sure get ripped too. or do you only get low grade? (i'm talking about high quality indoor stuff)
 
Hey guys I have a question:

What's the best portable, discreet vape which isn't too smelly when you smoke with it?

I'm looking for something I could easily hide and that I could use inside without being too smelly.

I don't have any specific budget, but it would be nice to have something which performs well while being as cheap as posible.

I checked out the Iolite portable vaporizer, is it any good for 100$?

having tried many portable vapes, i would not spend the money one one. i know this may sound disappointing initially, but you're much better off keeping the vape at home and using a piece/wrap. just my opinion but portable and vape are not two things that should be combined. you end up using much too much product for too little return. if you know roi, the roi is substantially less than using a piece or white grape white owl (personal favorite)
 
Personally I haven't tried any portable vaporizers, but I've heard many good reviews from a vaporizer called Magic Flight Launch Box. Price is affordable, less than the expensive bongs.

Just tried my first vaporizer couple of months ago.. Not really my style, a little too weak (at least the one I used) but good for anyone who is trying to hide the fact they are smoking..lol

i haven't needed to clean it out yet, it's still really new. i haven't been using it as much as i should be!!
and yeah thats the thing i love about vaps, the weed is reusable afterwards :) im saving it all up to throw into some cookies one day :D

my tolerance is pretty high. i need to pack it up 3/4 twice to be able to get satisfactory results.. it's a really nice high, better than any other vap i have tried in the past..
but i am too much on a bong head at the moment.. when i cut down a little more and my tolerance isn't so high, i then plan on making the permanent switch to vaporizers :)
right now i would consume way too much weed if i only relied on my vaporstar to get me lit.

MFLB dude. I got my Magic Flight Launch Box a few weeks ago, and I am so pleased with it. I have used a few other portable and larger vapes (iolite included, i prefer mflb), and this one is better, or just as solid as the others. I got mine for 80 bucks off Amazon, easy to get the hang of, super convenient.

I vape in my room with almost no smell (i burn a candle while vaping), been using way less bud than when smoking, but getting just as blazed.

I'm not sure if we're allowed to post prices, but I know my skillet cost less than your vaporizer.

I'm glad to hear that you're as pleased with your purchase as I am though! =D
 
MFLB all the way. I should add that it comes with a lifetime warranty covering all damage, for any reason, and it applies to the replacements as well.
MFLB + Candle + Dubetube(Sploof) + Window = James Bond.
 
A few days ago I split the cost of an Aziza V tower extreme with my SO, mainly for health concerns over our heavy smoking. I'm still trying to master my technique, but i',m pretty happy with the thing so far. I love the faint incencesy taste of weed without burning plant material. The vertical design is just a little annoying as its easy to drop a lot of crumbs into the model when stirring weed around.

Most weed seems to start to vape at anywhere from 360f to 385f. I will usually go up to 415 or 420 to try to get everything. I try to avoid going higher than this as the taste sort of declines. The weed always comes out a green tinted golden crip which makes me unsure if I am getting all the vapes I can out of it. Do owners of this vape find they need to use much higher temperatures? People say weed burns about 400f, but in this model the weed is a few cm from the heat so it is my guess the bud does not reach the temp on the screen. Do other people with this model go a lot higher?

For maximum weed efficiency, I am saving vaped weed to make butter with, which sounds cool, I just hope using vaped weed doesn't make them taste like shit.
The thing is pretty cool I'm guessing it's at least a B+ vape but I'm still getting to know it,
 
After reading many vape reviews, I'll probably get the Magic Flight Launch Box which seems to be the most popular portable vape out there.
 
How strong is the buzz you get from the magic flight launch box compared to a bong or a glass pipe?
 
Vaporizers are in my opinion; gives you a way clearer high. If you like the kind of head high and couch lock feeling, a vaporizer might not be for you. But then again it’s WAY healthier on your lungs then a bong or a pipe.
 
Finally, a thread that explains what I've been experiencing! When I vap I'm high for only a half hour or so, then I return close to sobriety. This could be due to the absence of CBD?
 
I have a high end vape. Compared to low end vapes a high end model is like driving a cadillac. Smooth as fuck with obvious quality differences in high and smoking experience. But I don't use it very much these days. For me I just love smoking the shit. Vapes get me higher but I like the smoking high and I just love smoking anything, cigs, cigars, blunts, joints, pipes, bowls, bubblers, bongs, whatever. I enjoy vape better if I'm smoking a lot of shit in a given day. Anyway its overrated by some and underrated by some. Whatever the case everyone should get a damn vape just save some money for a bubbler too cuz your not gonna stop smoking if your like me.

I find the vape high to be a lot stronger more cerebral/psychedelic, and if you vape an Indica you get a lot less couchlock and body load. For myself 1-2 vapor hits is like smoking an entire bowl or bong all at once. I don't vape that often at all so I have no tolerance at all so when I do it I can vape and get very high on a tiny amount of material that I'd have to smoke more of to reach the same level of highness, plus if you vaporize correctly you're only going to get THC. I find the vape high lasts awhile for me for 8 hours but like I said I don't have a tolerance at all and I don't vape, smoke, or use cannabis all that often. IME it's sort of like eating very strong edibles but without the couchlock or confusion.
 
^i don't see how a vape high can last 8 hours, i find they do last longer but for me that's about an hour or so.

I have a broken MFLB sitting around, the batteries were a pain in the ass but get a whip and an adapter and it's okay. I also have a volcano and it is amazing in comparison.

One good thing about the mflb besides being portable is that it works quickly, i hate having to wait for my volcano to heat up.
