[MEGA] Vaporizers Thread

does anyone have any solid info about what's going on with oil and a hot knife or nail/skillet setup and water pipe, vis a vis combustion or vaporization? i've got in a debate with a friend about this... he suggests that because there is no flame directly applied to the material, it's vaporization; I insist that it must be combustion if the platform is red hot, and even if it's cooled off a bit it is probably over the combustion threshold, so what gets produced is smoke not vapor. i am pretty sure that i am right, but i'm curious whether this has been studied at all.
 
anyone know if there flavoured herbs that you can add with the bud and place on the vaporizer (such as the vaporgenie pipe) to enhance the smoking experience?
 
damiana maybe. doesn really taste gr8. I used it for jwh018 and worked good, not sure about with bud tho. just out of curiosity, did you get the vaporgenie in the UK? looks like a sick budget vaporizer. need to get one, my lungs are like the bottom of a barbecue pit from spliffs.
 
^^^ hahaha nah I got it in aus. Actually delivered in less then 24hours which is freakin fantastic!! Have not given it a go yet. It will be waiting for me at home tonight where it will be sacramentaly christened for its first time. Cant wait!! I'll let you know how it goes

oil on a Ti pad, is vaporization. it is at a temp that vaporizes not burns. for the most part at least.
 
I love my magic flight. but dont believe what the website says about there being no smell. its not the best vape ever cause you have to use a fresh battery if you want to properly vape a bowl, but its small enough to fit inside my fist, so I can hit it pretty much anywhere, one handed operation. plus if it breaks due to it wearing out or you throwing it under a bus, the company will send you one for free, since their cost of production is so low and their profit margin so high.

So sorry, its not vaporization at that point.
I know what friend means, its a swing hot plate. Ti pad.
You use a torch and get it red hot swing it back and smoke not vape through a water pipe.
Its great for honey oil and budder.

I've a Vapir NO2 for almost 9 months now and as long as the screens are clean it hits like a dream. Usually it's set around 185-200 degrees. Most of the time it's at 200 or 195. The unit tops out at 205c so it's no Volcano, but it's wonderful.

A lot of people shit on "Crapir" but the NO2 has a 1 year warranty and mine has yet to fail. The only thing that's broken so far has been the power adapter, and that's easily fixed by splicing a new cord on (or buying another charger). The battery lasts for a good hour or so if you take it travelling but mostly it's a plug-in vape for me.

It's easy to clean and maintain and it's reliable as fuck. No glass to break, and once you've broken the unit in there's nothing but the smell of herb behind.

I just ordered the no2 vaporizer and im glad to read this review. I have only read good things online as well but im just curious to get some more info. Has anyone else used this or can comment on it? Also, sekio if you have anything else to say about it please let me know. =D This is my first vape purchase and im real excited.
 
thanks for the replies keychick and kaywholed... i tend to think it's combustion but really not convinced one way or the other....
 
Volcano 165-170 for me is the usual range with maybe 175 to get the rest out of it. Going much higher brings a risk of more bad chemical correct and less THC since it's all gone pretty much by the lower settings?

Fun stuff though. So easy to use. Such great highs. But sometimes smoking gives different feelings and the feel of that smoke "destroying" your lungs can be missed lol.
 
I ordered a Vapir NO2 vaporizer on Friday, and it arrived today. I did a lot of research and considered a cheap box/whip style vape but after reading lots of reviews, I decided on the Vapir NO2 as it's portable and had good reviews despite bad reviews of Vapir's other products.

I've only had it for one day, but I have to say straight out of the box I'm very impressed. The only other vaporizers I've used are a cheap box/whip one and a Volcano, and I've gotten the best results from my NO2. I ordered it from a popular online retailer and got it much cheaper than the listed price, which made it more worthwhile than paying the msrp which is almost double. The digital temperature display is very nice, and once you get used to filling the tiny chamber quickly it makes for a great vape, and is proving to be twice as efficient as smoking for me. Will post my ongoing results, but so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Me and my partner are looking in to maybe buying on of these :) .. it will make it so much easier then jumping out the window, going for a drive or hiding around the house while the other is the spotter ..

yeah, its bad ass. got one as well. not a volcano but it fits in my pocket. lol.
purple kush taste great, not super amazing like in a volcano, but a tiny pinch still gets you ripped.
 
I just lied in bed and vapid two bowls =D I still have yet to vape any kind of purple strains of weed (the best tasting strain IMO), but I'm really looking forward to it. I really love the stealth :)
 
^ That was like one of the first things i did actually when i got my vapourizer,
haha vaped quite a bit then was just stuck to the bed, some nice chilled, Slow trance playing
 
I have a vapor genie -> link removed
It uses a flame which has its advantages over conventional vaporizers. However, if you are using a lighter it wastes a lot of fuel and the lighter gets hot. That's why I have a coil of hemp wick wound around the lighter and I now use that to light the vaporizer. It works great and was only price removed. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

got it on amazon for a decent price. pretty sweet.
and papasomni, i was not aware that the price rules were ANYTHING to do with stuff like talking about how much a vape cost. thought it was just drugs. but oh well.

ive used them.
its nice, but I rather use a volcano. but own a mflb because portability rules
 
Sega did you get the bog standard Arizer V Tower,
or the Extreme?

I have the normal one and im 100% satisfied with it so far, it makes your weed last longer too.

that one looks like the extreme one
