as for the vagus nerve and different routes of administration--do you have sources on that yet, or is this still just a theory. I read your other thread that was sent to Advanced discussion and they did not agree with you.

I remember them disagreeing with me, but then again none of those mods like me and a few were going way out of their way to try and prove me wrong. They never could come up with a good counter-argument against my theory though... basically the thread deteriorated into an argument on whether snorting even is any different from oral... and anyone here who has done it knows that it is.
As for sources, I don't have anything that can directly prove what I'm saying.. no one has done any study of that kind before. You can only find coincidental evidence and try to make it fit a pattern with this kind of theory, which is why I never took it too far.
From Wiki
Activation of the vagus nerve typically leads to a reduction in heart rate, blood pressure, or both
^ and it uses norepinephrine and adrenaline to either raise or lower BP... a quick look on Wiki will confirm that.
Sadly, I can't find a study DIRECTLY linking MDMA to the Vagus, but if you do some searching you'll see it's been widely regarded as true that MDMA has a direct affect on the Vagus... MDMA has an affect on the 5-HT3 receptor found inside the Vagus Nerve after all..
Let's also not forget that the Vagus nerve is VERY important to digestion, as is Serotonin.

So basically, MDMA activates the Vagus nerve. From this activation, neurochemicals like Norepinephrine or adrenaline are released to raise or lower blood pressure to maintain homeostasis. That release of neurochemicals is going to have a direct effect on how MDMA feels... obviously if your brain is releasing a bunch of adrenaline during a roll it's going to feel much more "speedy", like meth, which causes a direct release of adrenaline.
dark chocolate had zero effect on our rolls.
I'm sorry to hear that. But you're probably just overlooking it.
The differences I've noticed in my rolls is, well, minimal. But there is something to the whole chocolate thing, for sure. I am one who has "lost the magic" as you may know... but if I eat a good amount of chocolate the week before I can still get a great roll that won't leave me dissapointed :D
Does it really CHANGE the roll? Nah. It does feel slightly different, I'll attribute that to different levels of neurochemicals.. but I mean the effects are all still the same
Overall just eating chocolate isn't going to make you roll SO much harder. But chocolate has slight MAOI effects, it's an anti-oxidant, it's good for your heart.. It's obvious that it has SOME effect on MDMA.
I think if you would get natural chocolate nibs it would be MUCH more effective. I believe natural chocolate contains serotonin among other neuro-chemicals...
