[Mega] Tryptophan and Dark Chocolate , 'e-diet'

There is definitely something to this. I consumed roughly 25 grams of 62% chocolate 3-4 times a week for 3 weeks leading up to roll, ate none the day before or the day of. I took two of the same pills I took last time, clean but low dose. The euphoria I experienced this time was much more intense, there were times I had to stop walking or dancing just to breath and chill as the waves poured over me. My gurning was definitely worse this time around though, my jaw is so sore this morning from clenching my teeth, my tongue is pretty beat up also.. i assume from rubbing it against the roof of my mouth and teeth.

I feel like it turned a good roll into a great roll, almost like I had consumed another half pill. I want to test this one more time so I am going to wait the same amount of time and will refrain from eating chocolate, then will try with the chocolate again the following time.

I appreciate all the time and effort you are going through to test this out well enough.
 
and i will let you know how my experience is when i roll next weekend.... i have a natural high tolerance for drugs booze etc so it takes alot for me to be gone... but this will be the first time doing the good food exersise, dark chocolate route so hopefully i will be fine with one mint instead of 2 :)
 
Ive always had a fairly low tolerance, but i really never ever remember my experience with mdma being so magical, until i started eating the foods in my e-diet heavily, or eating dark chocolate.

Lots of people get very jealous of how far i get when im out.
 
It does nothing - Yes its a MAOI, but do you seriously want to eat a huge bar of dark chocolate before you drop? You already know your going to feel like shit off the chocolate - you know MDMA makes you feel like your going to puke on the come up.

Take a break between rolling - test your gear - have (for you) a nice comfortable and safe setting (could be your bed / a field etc). End of story really?
 
well im not going to eat any a few days before i drop so that isnt going to be a issue for me.. if the dark chocolate doesnt do anything its all good cuz i still like to eat it anyway

Also, no it is not a MAOI, why on earth would i attempt to consume one of those and encourage others to do the same, with its rep that its a MAOI and its not?

Besides the idea isnt,
"oh ill eat this chocolate bar, and wow man im going to roll ballz tonight"
"really?"
"Oh yeah definitely just eating it that morning or w/e"

This is more about the longer-term consumption of small quantities, over a period of time.

There are 100s of chemicals in chocolate, one of those chemicals can potentiate MDMA... that's not not really that hard to believe, especially considering the Mayans used to eat loads of dark chocolate before their mushroom trips.


It sounds like you dont even really understand this dude, you're not supposed to eat any chocolate for an day before the roll anyways...
 
i think it would work really well in a therapeutic setting wouldnt it folley? you tried a big dose with it (as did i)
 
I like to eat dark chocolate when coming down from a trip for a nice 'warm fuzzy' feeling. I give it to people as medicine in a similar manner to Professor Lupin from Harry Potter. There is really something to it.
 
If you can make 100 mg mdma feel like 120, why not? Chocolate is not an MAOI itself but shouldn't be taken with MAOI's. MDMA is the same way. They shouldn't interact really but perhaps it could reduce oxidative stress and sliggtly enhance or inhibit metabolism the way grapefruits do..

To say chocolate is not a superfood may be somewhat of an understatement. High grade cocoa solids are rich in iron, soluble fiber(good for circulation) and have antioxidants aswell.

Shut your text books, stop believing wholeheartedly in any knowledge you have and give something a try before shitting on a thread. Would i have bothered making a point of this whole thing if i didnt think it makes for a Superior mdma experience?

Im going back on the diet untill my next rave, I have reason to believe that the molly I got was cut to shit :/ So gotta wait and see till next month

Even if it is placebo it's gotten me to eat a bit healthier so it's still worth it in the end! :)
 
well i've never had eye wiggles on mdma until i tried this, so i guess that says something.
 
Sam, I wholeheartedly apologize if you felt I and/or others have been "shitting on your thread", however in my opinion textbook knowledge does trump subjective experience. Now, I'm not saying I actually have any concrete, textbook knowledge regading this phenomenon(I certainly have my opinions and educated guesses), as frankly I'm not too interested. Nor am I willing to try this myself as it has been years since I've even considered using mdma again.
If you feel this is something that works for you and want to encourage others, then more power to you. I see no real harm in this. However I should note that I also see no significant pharmacological benefits either.
 
well as a long time user(16 years) i certainly have had a pill or two %). this will be the first time trying this.. i shall see if there is any truth to this(hope so)
 
When it all comes down to it those of us who are not txt book geeks are more interested in the potenteniating effect dark chocolate has on mdma and there is growing evidence on this thread that there is some truth behind this.

I'll be trying this out myself in a few weeks with some high quality mdma pills and also some acid. I been taking mdma for 9 years on and off so will be able to tell what a difference this makes.

Don't knock something til you tried it! :)
 
I've eaten about 300gs in the last week, and I'm rolling on tuesday. I'm on the roll diet pretty much all the time as it is, so this one aught to be good.
 
It's just, every time i 'roll' , with long spacing of course,
I never fiend for another dose, I never want to redose. It's always just that one capsule.

Out of all drugs, mdma is the one i use least, funny that as it also gives me the most satisfaction.
I never feel disappointing after taking mdma, for me its a mind blowing truly euphoric experience, but mainly since i started to eat different fods, so i just thought i'd share my knowledge with people, so that they can give it a try, and hopefully achieve the euphoria i have felt from mdma.
