Soooo.... the Afghan Kush, Trainwreck and White Widow (dont think I had any pics of that...) I had been getting all from the same guy, and long story short... it is no more.

I'm still getting dank, but damn I miss that stuff. Guaranteed to blow your mind every time...

Yeah they still sell Cobs like that in Malawi itself and export a lot to surrounding countries. Tanzania, South Africa and the like. Pretty sure cannabis (champa) is still one of their major exports despite seizures of thousands of kilos worth each year. I've tried it on a couple of occaisions it looked a lot like the first picture more so than the second which looks like some very high quality. It seems like a lot of it gets pollinated due to the huge number of outdoor grows and wild plants going on in the area. The stuff we got in Malawi was actually wrapped in a corn husk. As described the high is uplifting and can be a little bit trippy. They have perfect growing conditions there at about 9 S with high summer rainfall and warm temps all year. I'm pretty sure the guy was saying that they plant out several times a year.

Below is a piece of cob we got in nearby Mozambique and a subsistence farm in the north of Malawi just at the beginning of flowering- they had pulled the males just before I got there. Conveniently located next to the packaging material:

I cant imagine it being anything other than weed, unless it is of the last picture tricomb posted, but it doesn't look the same, those are WAY may serrated
 
^That looks great makes me want to smoke so bad right now. Atleast I will be able to in 2 more days to celibrate passing my drug test from my doctor. Hopefully I can find my camera recharger so I can post some pics of the fire looking 1/8th I am saving for then.
