[Mega] Opioids (codeine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, heroin, etc.) and Ecstasy

im not saying to i used oxycodone while i was rolling, i am saying by using it heavily a week before and then doing e a day later without doing oxycodone that day could it result in fucking with a MDMA high?
 
Back in March my best friend died from oc's, drinkin, and coke, he used these things pretty regularly,(at least every weekend). I rolled that night and came down with an OC. And all of our close friends coinsidenltly(or not) were doing OC's as well. The next morning I get a call from the place I moved out of not even a month before, saying "Ryan's dead" and I still can't believe it. Since then, I haven't rolled or touched OC's or coke, the longest I've gone since I started doing drugs.

Listen carefully....it is people like you that give oxy such a bad name. Mixing ANYTHING w/ oxy (and I do not care what kind of tolerance you have -- hell I have used more oxy than most on this board I am sure of it. ) can be lethal; these are how people die. Do you think when you hear about these accidents the people who OD'd wanted to die??? I think your main issue has to do with depleted serotonin levels.

im asking if it could have effected the MDMA high lenth as it only lasted 45 mins and the week prior i did 100mg drops at one sitting but i didnt run oxy the day i poped or on it
 
Yeah I see that. I beleive it does, with no factual evidence, but I used to chill w/ these kids (brothers) , they did oxy's a lot along w/ dope. I remember wen did some strong pills a couple times like the purple armani's and the #1's from probally a year ago, and they said they really didn't feel anything, though I was not w/ them, I didn't see why this was. That was the only reasonable explanation I could think of. That or they didn't roll too many times, but a pill that had me hit should of had them as well.

My one friend wants to try E with me and it will be his very first time trying it. But the problem is he uses 120mg of oxycontin a day so if he does E with me does he not have to do oxycontins that day so he can roll or does he have to stop like 3days before we roll? It will be his first time and I want him to experience it so what does he have to do with the oxys so he can fully roll?
 
The longer time between the last oxy and the E the better.

It's a toll on your kidneys, liver, ect to filter out. AND if the E has meth in it, youd want as little oxy left in your body.
 
opiates are downers
mdma/meth (meth common in pills) are uppers

combo is already a bad idea there.

also 120mg oxy per day is a huge habit. so he should be careful. very careful. i doubt if he has a 120mg per day oxy habit, that he will last a 3 day cold turkey detox then feel up to rolling.
 
While I don't really agree with the idea that mixing uppers and downers is an innately bad idea, in this case it is quite true.

You're friend should avoid taking opiates and MDMA. While a lot of people do it, it can be a bad mix, and can lead to an unpredictable increase in plasma MDMA levels.

As Clip says 120mg Oxy is a massive tolerance, maybe you should talk to your friend about his habit.
 
don't you think it's not good to encourage ppl to take drugs , less abuses the better. i am a drug taker , and i don't like to bring ppl into the game,

like why? i'm sure they will try it in there own time , why speed the process up, unless you have a motive (ect. gaining a customer )


think about their well being even if they don't ,

fundementally mixing uppers and downers is a bad idea. as it stresses the heart. but yeah, 99% of the time its fine. its when huge doses of either are involved that it gets dangerous as per this situation

bilzors right about how you should talk about the habit. 120mg oxy per day is huge.
 
Um... I'm so confused about this thread. Why are people going on about SSRIs and MAOIs? Anyway...

Mixing heavy oxy use and MDMA can interact, but in the opposite way. It's a bad idea, but most people get away with it. But its possible that this interaction could hurt someone in future.
 
clip -- bilz0r was saying not that mixing uppers and downers is intrinsically bad, but pointing out that some opiates heavily inhibit the enzymes in the liver that metabolise MDMA. The end result is that normal first-pass metabolism is inhibited, and you can get much larger blood levels of the drug than you expect. Moreover, this difference is highly unpredictable
 
^ Exactly. There are a lot of people who say that mixing "uppers" and "downers" is a bad idea. But its quite common for people who turn up at A&E and are highly agiated with meth use to be given downers.
 
Thanks for the answers, it is true that Ive been on 120 for quite awhile now but have quit for the sole reason that I dont appreciate the effects any longer. Thanks again.

dude said his friend is interested in trying it, according to that statement, he'd mainly be there to guide his friend and make sure everything goes well.

Hopefully he gets over his Ecstasy phase quickly.

P.S. 120 of OC isn't a huge addiction.

my bad :)

just goin with the whole bluelight harm reduction thing.

i mix uppers and downers as well, and like bilzor said, even professionals use the combination medically. but yeah, its somehting to be aware of as it does stress your heart etc etc.
