So tonight I am harvesting my first crop of Chemdawg #4. I have been waiting for this moment for over one year (took awhile to get the genetics). I finally got my hands on the genetics and she is stunning. She smells of the most beautiful citrus and petrol in the whole world. I'll try to take a decent picture before the chop tonight. It's like being 10 years old at Christmas all over again

And what size, color is the bug, what marks is it leaving on the leaf if you can't provide a pic just try with an accurate description or google pictures of em and find them.

They are flowering and there's nOt manny I've only seen 1 bug so far and it was brown and very very small like a grain of pepper. Haven't seen any marks just a white spoton one leaf that I could wipe off and never comeback.

I also think I fucked up a tip of a branch by toping it to manny times and it went brown were it was snipped and won't flower.

If I were to say, just cut the top 5 inches off of the tallest part of my plant and try to clone it , would the plant continue to grow well?

Hey everyone,

Just chopped my ladies (sad sight) and am pretty impressed. I had a lot of trouble removing some of the leaves from the main buds as you can see in the photos, but maybe they will become easier to remove once their dried out?

First few pictures are of the buds right before i gave them the chop:

So now their hanging in a dark dry spot until next Monday.

mmhhhmmmm very nice dude im jelouse :D yeah your leaves will get easyer to trim once they dry out a bit but try to get the main shadys off....also just a tip put down some news paper under where your plants are hanging that way you can collect all the tricoms that fall off the buds atleast thats what i've been told to do....also i would take all those leaves out of that bag and let them dry before baging to avoid mold

hey wise, your lady looks fantastic, ive been working away from home so havent had time to post, i got home yesterday and my girl is doing great, can i send you some pics again and would you mind putting a couple up on here for me again if you dont mind?, i have a question as well my girl has been in flower now for 4 wks, so she should have about 4 wks left, is that right or does it just depend when she looks ready, ie, the colour of the pistols etc, also quite a few of the fan leaves are yellow now is that normal for the time of the cycle or could it be some thing else? like a deficiency
i know you will be better able to tell from a pic so i will do it now, will you still be on line for the next 15 mins? if so i will take the pics and send them to you now, as i would really appreciate it to make sure she is ok, can you let me know and ill get the pics taken now, thanks man, and great job on your girl

So I took her down last night. She yields awesome and smells even awesomer. Going to have to dry and cure her and then the taste test, but I've already tried this strain before and it fucking knocked me off my ass as well as tasted better than any bud I have have in my life. Chemdawg #4.

I would trim off the largest sun leaves first and leave the buds to dry. The smaller leaves will curl inwards and protect the buds and these can be removed later on.

Were they grown outside? I can't remember if they were or not.

Thanks AE. I've become accustomed to trimming the larger fan leaves first as well, leaving the small ones to curl over the bud and protect them from light while they dry. Works well.

^ I have a bit of a love hate relationship with trimming. Once I get into it it's all right, but I tend to try and put it off since I'm lazy. It's probably the most difficult part of the grow I find.

Next grow I'm going to experiment with starting the cure before the stems become so dry that they snap when bent. If I can jar them up just before this point I have a theory that they'll give for a better smoke since they won't be so dry and brittle after they're cured and ready to use.

GurnEr JoshE, I forgot to tell you one thing. If you didn't already plan on doing this, I would recommend keeping any trim that has any trichomes, even if they're sparsely distributed, since it can be used to make perfectly good ice hash. Put it straight into the freezer to wait until you're ready to process it into hash and don't worry if you can't afford expensive bubblebags, since you can use tights (pantyhose) to make perfectly good ice hash. All you would need is a bucket, some ice, a wooden spoon and some tights or bubblebags.

I have a few ziplock bags filled with A grade trim that's ready to make hash with. They're sitting in the freezer waiting until I can afford bubblebags at some point.

Yes infant it would depending on the care give her. Actually a few months back I was hst training it and one of the 2 main branches ( kinda looked like sling shot) got snapped off now is flowering lol and we cloned it worked very well.

5 wks on friday, so do you think she is doing ok? Im going to get an extract fan and carbon filter,im going to order it next couple of days, so do i need to add any other nutes at all , i have herd of pk 14/15 but not sure any advice will be appreciated guys thanks alot wise

She's looking fine mate. What are the temps in there like? You may get away with not using a carbon filter with just the one lady in there, unless she is already starting to smell bad.

the temp is a constant 80degrees with the supply fan on, do you think i will get away with out the carbon filter with that temp? i have seen one with a extract fan ,2m of ducting ,clips the fan is 2 speed the price is £59 with free delivery, what do people think is it worth me getting it and is it a good price? and at that price will the filter be any good or shit/ i have done some research but im still not sure , any advice from you guys will be greatly appreciated , thanks guys, and thanks for putting the pics of my girl up wise, so you think she looks ok? there is loads of crystals forming but you cant see them on the pic as i done it with my fone and its only a 5mega pixel
