[MEGA] Cooking with Cannabis

I've read through half this thread and doubt i'd be able to find what i'm looking for...

i'm looking for some kind or recipe that isn't unhealthy (no sugars, butter, oil etc..) I have a cousin that's sick and he's been throwing up and unable to keep food in, but smoking hurts his chest, and he's weak as it is that it causes him a lot of pain just to cough

healthy food is a MUST

anyone know a way for him to ingest the THC that'll help his nausea and help keep food in and not be detrimental to his health as he'll probably have to ingest THC often in order to be able to eat every day...
 
Does he have a sensitivity to oil sinfony?
I would think that if he's having trouble eating, some fat would do him good.
 
well he has cancer, he's got to stay away from food that makes him unhealthy cause it just feeds cancer cells, and he's got to remove the toxins from his body, increase oxygen in his cells, and reduce acidity...bad foods will do the opposite

but since you said oil, then i'm thinking olive oil won't be so bad...what exactly can u do with oil?
 
is it the same as with butter? of so then throw it in a saucepan with the weed (work out the math so you know how many grams of weed to fluid ounces of olive oil) and turn the heat on for awhile until the cannaboids are absorbed in the oil then strain out the weed and squeez as much oil out of it as possible. Then either repeat for a higher concentration or use as is. I think i might be wrong seeing as how i've never used oil before but i heard it's the same as with butter...someone please validate or correct me.

oh also i've heard that this can be dangerous with some possibility of an oil fire so definetley keep the heat to medium or below.

haha.. soo cant i just eat the buds/leaves themselves? wouldnt that give me the exact same high without all this cooking?

Like.. weed doesnt taste that bad. Mush is worse.

So, if i grind it up really fine and sprinkle it over pizza or something, or shoot it down with water. wouldnt that work just fine?
 
is it a good idea to cook with just stems and shake? i have about an oz of stems and would like to make some bud butter?

Yes an oz of stems will definitely do, especially if they're from some dank shit. Or you could use them to make Green Dragon if you wish.

It's not quite that simple. The THc has to be contained in some form- whether in the plant, in the smoke that you are breathing in, or the some type of edible vessel to assist it in its ability to be utilized by the body. The last form is where cooking comes in- THC needs to be contained within some type of fat, as the molecule is fat/alcohol soluble, meaning that the THC will be extracted out of the plant matter and into the solvent. If you merely eat pot without preparing (ie cooking) it in some way then it will not be broken down in time to be utilized by the body before it passes out with the pizza that you sprinkled it on top of.

So, in a nutshell, no.

MORE than enough, think about it if you've got 3/8 on 6 heads that means .5/8 per person, an eight is 3.5g so thats 1.75g of weed per head and it's being delivered more efficiently than when you smoke as well so you need EVEN less...I bought some commercially made brownies the other day that had .4g of weed per dose and I was FUCKED UP so imagine what 4 times that would do to you. However that was with extremeley high quality bud so if your using mids/schwagg dose accordingly
 
So i just microwaved some milk for 2 minutes in a mug, added cocoa powder, and then sprinkled about a g of low/mid grade bud. Does THC need a certain temperature to dissolve in a lipid? I don't know if its affecting me at all. I think I might be imagining a "high". :p
 
I was just wondering, my family makes lots of home made candy around the holiday seasons, and it seems like the perfect delivery system for THC.
Most recipes require at least 1/2 to 1 cup of butter, as well as several cups of heavy whipping cream. The only concern I have is what temperature does THC break down at? Making boston cream or fudge requires a sustained temperature of 235-240 degrees. Would the THC get degraded by temps that high?
 
^no, most brownie/cake mixes call for your oven to be around 400 even.. your fine, remember to simmer the ground up weed in the butter/oil first, then add accordingly to your candy mixes and continue to bake as normal

The titles pretty self-explanatory, if its been done to death already, my bad.


Firecrackers are always easy, 2 peanut butter crackers pressed together with anywhere from .7-3Gs of good bud cut up and mix in with the peanut butter. Now sandwhich those crackers wrap in a layer or 2 of tin foil and oven 300-350 for 15+mins.

Canna-olive oil & butter are always useful too. Happy new year Every 1
 
Leary biscuits are cheese and crackers cooked in an oven or microwave.

Use as much bud as you want, make sure the cheese melts over the herb. Cheddar cheese works well.

Wrap up your bud in some rolling papers and light it. ;)

Seriously though, just make cannabutter/canna-oil, and use it as you would use oil or butter in recipies (like brownie or cookie mix). It doesn't get much better than that...unless you count Green Dragon, which a) isn't cooking anyway, b) involves hi-test alcohol, which you may or may not have access to (due to age or location) c) Involves drinking said alcohol, which is rarely as much fun as smoking (IMHO).
 
Any tips for minimizing the smell when making butter? Last time I made some the whole house absolutely reeked of weed and i'm alittle concerned the neighbours might be able to smell it if i'm doing it.
 
my favorite was put a quarter of ground cleaned schwagg into my homemade pasta sauce then ate it over pasta. definetly worked
