Om mani padme hum

Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ
(a) tat savitur vareṇyaṃ
(b) bhargo devasya dhīmahi
(c) dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt

Om Shantih, Shantih, Shantih

Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life, Remover of pain and sorrow, The Bestower of happiness, Oh! Creator of the Universe, May we receive thy supreme sin-destroying light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction.

when I recite om mani padme hum I can feel intense vibrations, when I sing the second paragraph I feel as if im attuning my consciousness to a clean, clear, high vibrational frequency and energizing my chakras and energetic body, just edited the 3rd part should flow more naturally now.

The chanting of the mantra should be concluded by saying "Om Shantih, Shantih, Shantih" - this is done to provide Shantih or peace to the body, spirit and mind. It is said that each syllable of the Gayatri Mantra has been specifically formulated to energize specific chakras and provide healing energies for our major internal organs. Hence, the practitioner of this mantra would benefit greatly from paying particular attention to the pronunciation of each syllable

Aum = Brahma ;
bhoor = embodiment of vital spiritual energy(pran) ;
bhuwah = destroyer of sufferings ;
swaha = embodiment of happiness ;
tat = that ;
savitur = bright like sun ;
varenyam = best choicest ;
bhargo = destroyer of sins ;
devasya = divine ;
these first nine words describe the glory of God
dheemahi = may imbibe ; pertains to meditation
dhiyo = intellect ;
yo = who ;
naha = our ;
prachodayat = may inspire!
"dhiyo yo na prachodayat" is a prayer to God

Hence the Gayatri is unique in that it embodies the three concepts of stotra (singing the praise and glory of God), dhyaana (meditation) and praarthana (prayer).

The Vedas are widely considered to be the source of all true knowledge, the word "Veda" itself meaning "Knowledge". Gayatri Devi also gave to mankind the "Gayatri Mantra", also known as the "Guru Mantra" or the "Savitri Mantra". It is one of the oldest mantras, and generally thought of as being amongst the highest and most powerful mantras of all. This mantra is therefore often referred to as "the Mother of the Vedas". In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna had proclaimed to Arjuna - "Among all the mantras, I am the Gayatri".

Rishis selected the words of the Gayatri Mantra and arranged them so that they not only convey meaning but also create specific power of righteous wisdom through their utterance. The ideal times for chanting the mantra are three times a day - at dawn, mid-day, and at dusk. These times are known as the three sandhyas - morning, mid-day and evening. The maximum benefit of chanting the mantra is said to be obtained by chanting it 108 times.

Forgiveness Mantra:

Kara charana krutam vaak kaayajam karmajam vaa
shravan naya najam vaa maanasam vaaparaadham
vihita maavihitam vaa sarvametat shamasva
jai jai karunabdhe shri maha deva shambho

Whatever I have done with my hands or feet, or speech, my body or my actions,
Whatever I have heard or seen, or thought, all my mistakes,
Whether knowingly or unknowingly, please forgive them all,
Great all forgiving God, Mahadeva Shambhu.

The Nadha Brahmam "Ohm" or in Modern terminology Schumman resonance has a close significance Aum corresponds to the strongest of the schuman resonance among all other bio magnetic fields. We can relate the seven different chakras in body to these sounds and also with Schumann Resonances of earth, ie, 7.83, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hertz of earth. We all know 7.83 hz
being the strongest of all.

Ohm - 7.83Hz
Gam - 14hz
Hleem - 20Hz
Hreem - 26Hz
Kleem - 33Hz
Krowm - 39Hz
Sreem - 45Hz

Raam- is also a Beejaksharam, who resonance frequency lies between 26 to 33

Remember its all vibration, E = M * C^2 the energy emitted is square of the vibration of mantra you use.

You can raise the Kundalini with constant practice. May be the initiated Brahmin one day realises that ENERGY is everything. Brahman is Everything which has taken different forms of life.

OHM is interspersed in all mantras for important reasons. When you chant "OHM" all the seven energy centers in human body get refreshed .

Life has energy centers and they all vibrate at different frequencies.

If in a human body all the seven centers vibrate in their own plane,
radiating energy in all directions, then its is not a channelized way of
utilizing the energy.

We need to channelize them. So that we may be able to use them
for a better purpose.

Every mantra has a specific frequency and only by uttering "OHM" one can make all his/her energy centers to vibrate with the mantra.

By concentrating thus one can accelerate ones evolution on earth
as humans, and move on to next levels.

Breath or the Prana or the Chi or Qi is the vital force that connects the body with mind/soul.
Without Prana, mind and soul can not interact with the body.

The mind needs to:

1) Repeatedly chant/meditate on a Mantra, 2) Control of the Prana.

At this stage one can realize the subtle systems in the human body...

The Mind has to evolve to reach this state. It is the eligibility for getting into the world of subtle energies.
