What are some medications that can safely be combined with Cannabis if you have a problem with a racing heart, I tried a beta blocker but it didn't work.

Did you try a Xanax or two? Xanax, Ativan, and Klonopin, all benzos, help me get back to center every time I start to go overboard. I'm not recommending anything. I'm just telling you what I do.

Benzodiazapines are only a short-term treatment.

You're better off addressing your anxieties, deep-breathing, hypnosis, CBT, whatever it takes.

I used to have similar problems and learned after years of trial and error, my heart-rate was a direct result of anxiety.

Thus the recommendation for benzos.

The thing that helped me the most was the realization that my heart was fine.

It was psychosomatic.

If this doesn't help, then cannabis may not be for you.

I took Florineff, prescribed by a doctor. It was a heart steroid because sometimes I would have blackout issues or difficulty with balance due to low blood flow and oxygen circulation... but I'm not sure exactly what you are asking.

1) Are you mistaking a racing heart with anxiety?
2) What medications are you currently taking, legal or otherwise -
3) What do you mean "tried a beta blocker," those require a professional and a very long needle to numb sympathetic nerves generally, not for heart issues.

Hopefully I can help you after you answer those questions. If you don't want that in a public forum you may PM me the answers and I can help you get more (or best) answers to your thread (hopefully) the more I know.

I might be mistaking a racing heart with a panic attack/anxiety, but I guess the two are related? I don't want to use Benzos as they negatively impact my cognition when I use therapeutic doses.

Do this.

Cannabis apparently can increase your heart rate but unless you have problems with your heart or blood pressure it should not be an issue at all.

When I had issues with anxiety and panic-not related to smoking herb but getting stoned didn't help, I wanted to get some benzos and take those but I was warned not to since they were just a temporary fix (no pun) and they wouldn't really help my issues with panic or anxiety and they could make it worse later on, and benzos can be addictive for some people.

I've never used benzos recreationally so I have no idea what they are like. I've only had Valium once and that was when I had my wisdom teeth removed and it was an IV and I don't remember anything from the surgery after I had the IV.

I've heard Verapamil could help, it might help with mood instability and anxiety.
