Hi all this is my first attempt at this sort of thing im on a load of meds for many years now for heart disease diabetes type 2 copd asthma i was wondering if anyone can help i have started to sweat really badly on and off all day and night with very little sleep and now i am at my wits end as where to go as the local hosp doesn't have a clue as my on 15 different types of tablet and opiates any suggestion would be grateful many thanks

Hi there and welcome to the site,

Sweating is often a side effect of certain medications and opiates - there really isn't a fix except to stop taking the medication or the medication in the combination your taking them in.

You would be better booking to see a pain management doctor and list the medication your using and explain the side effects to them.

I'd take all my meds to a pharmacist, they seem to be more helpful and knowledgeable than docs

Your asthma probably contributes to sweating because you're probably not getting enough oxygen. I'm not a Dr. but I could only give you my personal opinion if I knew exactly what drugs you were taking (dosages too) and your pathology.
