Hi all
I have a medical mj card for pain. Over past year or so I've realized my condition has degenerated to the point that all marijuana does is make me slightly more happier and let's me relax and zone out easily but it really does little for my chronic pain. I live in the weed capital of canada and have tried all sorts of strains, hash, edibles, etc. Edibles are the best bet but even then it seems only once and awhile as long as my tolerance isn't too high. I tried oxycontin once years ago and remember it got me so high that I didn't care about anything. I remember playing with my lip for like twenty minutes and thinking how great everything was even though I was physically very messed up. I more recently orally ingested a 2mg dilaudid (no scrip just got one from a friend) and it was one of the few times I've felt ok. I am in a weird situation with my doc as I've avoided all pharmas and suffered through it and I really don't see my doc much for whatever reason (I can't stand making appointments, my doc is outta town) and you may say well you're pain isn't bad enuff if u can't get it together to go see the doc but wat is happening is I live with the pain but am a total asshole to ppl when I'm hurting and I am depressed very bad at times and I can't concentrate and its killing my life....I'm realistic I doubt he is gonna prescribe opiates right off the bat ...
But I realize I gotta get in there. I'm taking a tolerance break from pot which I really need mentally as I'm truly not a fan of being high all the time and my pain is so bad I've considered trying to find some heroin off the streets. I don't know where I'm going with this I realize how dumb it sounds but when you r suffering just the thought of waiting weeks to get in to see a doc and then goin thru the motions to get the drugs I really need.. I dunno.. Sleepeless just want someone to know what I'm thinking
Are there any pain patients here on pharma opioids? Wat can you say about the different drugs? The dilaudid I had was like heaven in a pill, I felt so good, alright, how I haven't felt in so long. I dunno. I have a lot of self reflection to do
