Medical Marijuana in Virginia?

i dunno how legit that link you posted is. but regardless, Virginia would need to issue medical marijuana licenses/permits - which it does not. so whether it is legal or not doesn't matter.
 
I mean i've done alot of Research and it seems to be legit.. But if it's true then why isn't virginia makeing licences/permits for it?.. I feel like they do but it's just really rare to come by and it's more restricted to cancer/aids paicents..

You want to know what would be a sweet thing to try to research, though? When and why that 1979 law that you posted was repealed/amended/whatever (if it even existed in the first place).




It's possible the federal government granted the state money on the basis that, while the law was in effect, nobody actually utilized it and if they did then funding would get cut off. Kind of like how they got every state to unanimously raise the drinking age to 21 with the allure of highway funding.

Or maybe everybody decided that federal law really does trump state law and it's still illegal even if you're being told it's legal. Who knows? These politicians and legislators are a sneaky group.
 
I'm dissapointed it didn't work out for VA.. But it's just seems like the law is in the books but it's like no one knows about it.. Thanks for the link though.. It was deffanitlt helpfull.. I'm ditermened to figure out this mystery once and for all
