Medical Marijuana in NC

He went to jail because of the paraphernalia. I live in right outside of Charlotte and got caught summer of 07 with a quarter bag and simply got a ticket, had to go to court and pay a 100 fine and 45 court fee and unsupervised probation for 6 months. Nothing basically
 
Anyone else see the irony in that? The device used to smoke got him the jail time, a device that would be completely legal had he not also had the drug. But then the drug by itself doesn't give you anything but a ticket? lol
 
I think the Bill is great, it's all about protecting us, and the practitioners who recommend us medical marijuana use. in other words law enforcement cant question a practitioners reasons for recommending medical marijuana to us
 
that bill was supposed to be voted on last summer but they ignored and went on vacation instead

I haven't read the bill, but are all the medical marijuana states as liberal as california??? I was under the impression that in some states you had to be terminally ill/getting chemo or something along those lines. I could be wrong tho.

Either way it's pretty sweet. I live in NC too, so this could be awesome. I got my fingers crossed. Also if you're in the Charlotte NC area there is a meeting coming up for starting a NORML chapter, so PM me if you want the date/time/location. We need all the support we can get.:D
