hey bluelighters:)

I've found myself thinking about cannabis again after decades of not using weed

I developed a bad dope habit in it's place but am seeing light at the end of the tunnel after hopeless years of addiction.

Has any one heard of persons getting a doctors medical cannabis permission for untreatable
depression?

the laws in md for this are so vague, all I've managed to gather is that you can't have more than an ounce, you will never go to jail and never be fined more than $100

everything else is really vague, there are no dispensaries in md,and I'll bet you can't grow it so one must continue to break the law to obey it,classic politico bullshit at it's finest, tho I do commend the govenor for passing the bill when lil bush recommended it be vetoed

I suffer severe depression brought on by chronic pain,I don't want anymore opiates or benzos,I'm on gabapentin,I'm okay with gaba as I've never had any ill effects when I stopped taking it.

one other little snag-legal problems prevent me from just smoking pot if I want to or not, thats why I ask about the medical and wondered if any other marylanders have had luck with this.

This thread is questionable, it borders on where to find drs or where to find "untreatable depression" as a reason for a medical cannabis card. I'm sorry podswell but I need to close this thread, too much sourcing type of discussion will result from it. Perhaps move it to North and South American Social and Drug Discussion, your regional forum, and it may get more help there.
