Some say my heart hides 'neath
A glossy veneer
Of intellect shining to diffuse
The Chaos
Pure protection I might employ
But 'tis no mere guard from
"Inconvenient emotion"
I cry with each keystroke
I rage with my words
I think what I feel
To separate is absurd
Asinine, even, as
I inscribe my darkest thoughts
I break down inside
Having been told how
To tell you "I feel"
Reduces the veracity
That imprints my Hurriphoonsoon
Onto you, the protection a guard
From those who refuse to understand
