Seen lots of MDPV trip reports lately and wanted to add my experience. Hopefully contains some unique info.

~SHORT VERSION~
Background--Brand new to MDPV but take another stimulant (propylhexedrine) in low doses on a regular/daily basis. No stims in the past 24 hours. 27, Female, no serious health conditions.
Dose--Unknown, but extremely small. Taken orally in divided doses.
Positive Effects--Energy, giddiness, mental focus, confidence, talkativeness, optimism, reduced fatigue, productivity, music enhancement, reduced appetite
Negative Effects--Heart palpitations on comedown, moderate stomach upset/diarrhea, slight mood letdown.

~LONG VERSION~
I recently quit mephedrone after 4 months of on/off use (mostly on) and a horrid week-long "comedown" that made opiate withdrawal feel like a day at the beach. During one of my many binges, I ordered a gram of MDPV, as my vendor was out of meph. After a week-plus of researching I tried a tiny amount to test it out. *When I say tiny, I mean about 1/4th the diameter of a smiley character --->
Within about 10 minutes I began to feel a slight surge of energy. I swallowed another dose of the same size about 15 minutes later and kept doing so 3-4 more times in a 2-hour span.
Somewhere in the midst of dosing, the positive effects kicked in. My typing speed doubled, mood lifted and focus was oddly increased and scattered at the same time. Watching music vids on Youtube was awesome and took up most of my attention for the duration of the trip. Typical stimulant effects--energy, focus, appetite loss, etc--were present, but with an added element of giddiness and child-like euphoria that is hard to pinpoint. Razor-sharp mental focus was there if I wanted it, but it took some effort to access. I chose to let my thoughts wander but could've been really productive too.
Duration of positive effects: 2 hours
Despite everything I'd read about potency, the strength of the experience was surprising considering the dose...and so was the strength of the comedown. Everything was fine until I took 3 Valerians to go to bed, which is when the heart palpitations kicked in. I almost fell asleep but was jarred awake by weird nightmares and a heart that was beating like mad. (Slightly fast but REALLY hard). There was none of this during the actual high, mind you. I felt anxious and pissed that I couldn't sleep which only made the insomnia worse. I eventually fell into a restless and nightmare-filled sleep and that was that. I felt fine in the morning after only 3 hours of sleep.
Duration of negative effects: 3 to 3.5 hours
To wrap this up, I think MDPV is a more useful and practical drug for regular use than mephedrone. It's stimulating and fun but without the MDMA-like serotonin plunge that leaves me feeling like I just quit 7 SSRIs cold turkey. That said, the body load is pretty heavy on the comedown and could lead to serious problems with careless dosing. If you can manage once or twice-daily dosing, it may be alright. Low-dose propylhexedrine is still my choice for daily/long-term use, but MDPV has its place as well. Overall a 6 out of 10.
