MDPV Megathread 8: The Girl Who Chased The Dragon's Tail

This thread makes a pretty sad read. People obsessing over 3 piles of identical powder, we're still talking about the sacred "tan pv" and pointless compulsive redosing.

It doesn't matter how you take it, sniffed, chased, probably injected it's still the same monotonous high with a pile of psychosis and anxiety for afters.

Sounds like all stims over the long run to me....

And all of BL makes pretty sad reading, no? I mean - everyone knows it as the place to go to see unparalleled stupidity with drugs, and anyone who reads it for any length of time quickly sees how rapidly new posters move from enthused young "researchers" to hopelessly strung out or dead. The entire site reeks of death.

But at least in this thread it's primarily long term stim freaks well committed to their path who are using relatively new drugs. How much sadder and more pathetic is it to see young people who - despite having 100 years of relevant history to study - have no idea what a dead end cocaine is and who are eagerly paying almost as much for a cut gram as they'd pay for a 1/4 oz of pure elsewhere? Young people who worship Hunter Thompson without realizing that he spent the vast majority of his adult life completely strung out and pathetically trying to relive his stim honeymoon youth? Any fool should know what a dead end cocaine and methamphetamine are, but at least MDPV is relatively new still and the foolishness has some novel aspects rather than being a boring replay of the 1970s....

So old and committed stim freaks - vape on! Young people enamored of all this stupidity - good luck waking up....

This I agree with, I can think of a few people who no longer post that went from nice middle class school kids to full blown smackheads within a year. Ultimately though it was their (informed) choice. Knowledge can be a dangerous thing in the wrong hands, some people are better blissfully unaware. I can think of a few things it would have probably been for the best if I'd never heard of.

I'd say there were a fair percentage of people who turned to MDPV before you could really class them as "long term stim freaks", probably long before they ever tried decent quality cocaine or methamphetamine. It's funny how you condemn Hunter S Thompson's adult life as "completely strung out and pathetically trying to relive his stim honeymoon youth".. did he not also mount a political campaign and change the way a lot of people thought at the time? The man was decades ahead of his time. It's bizzarre the way you write him off like that yet what are you doing with MDPV yourself? What are you actually getting out of it?

If your saying cocaine and methamphetamine are a deadend isn't MDPV just another more tweaky high with a worse (and more unpredictable) end? You almost come across like your trying to make out like this thread is full of pioneers of a new phase in history rather than just a bunch of hopeless fiends which is the reality of MDPV. If you seriously think this I'm sorry but what will be remembered is the RC generation, the mephedrone kids, that will be remembered, much like the E generation of the 90's. PV doesn't really have much of a place in any of it.

Yes absolutely - thanks to BL and the rest of the 'RC' promoting hype engine making people behind the scenes rich.

I loved HST's work and attitude. But you only have to read some of the bios or talk to people who knew him to find out how sad his life after the early 70s was. His legacy online now appears to be not his politics or ethos of personal freedom but to serve as an inspirational druggie leading a million dumb kids to ruin. The Western world has turned into everything he warned against already - there was no positive change. His legacy remains only as encouragement for naive children to follow a ruinous path.

I don't understand the rest of your post regarding history - most of these drugs are garbage - including MDMA and mephedrone and 90% of these idiotically named "RCs". I don't do PV or any of the rest of this crap. I'm here to study new trends in bad drugs because that's what I do, but I also respect people who have chosen a 'vida loca' and live it to the fullest. Stuffmonger or Shambles or The Professor and others old enough to know what's what going to the edge and beyond while living accelerated lives of adventure, sex, and madness are interesting. Young fools chasing old dead end drugs at insanely inflated prices and leading boring lives while slagging off other druggies is just sad....

Yeah but that is the world we live in. We're no longer in 1980 where people just took what was available via the local dealer. Surely if your going to fuck your dopamine/seratonin levels you may aswell have fun doing it like raving on MDMA or chatting shit in the pub on charlie. I'd say that's a better use of my time/money than paying £20 for a gram of something that will keep me awake 4 days feeling paranoid and anxious, only actually enjoying the fact that I'm fiending. It is near enough fruitless.

I think your giving the general population too little credit. Most of the people I know, know that he was more than just 'that guy from Fear & Loathing'. I'd say his legacy is somewhere between the 2, he is just an interesting charecter of the past.

I guess it's down to the user really what "good drugs" are. I don't think of any stimulant as being a good thing, ultimately they will need to nothing positive. It doesn't mean I don't love the highs/rushes they can provide. The likes of LSD, ketamine, 2c's and even MDMA (to an extent, sometimes) have had a positive impact on me as a person. Stimulants generally just drive you crazy and make you do shady things. I still don't really see how you come to the conclusion that taking some new shitty RC is more adventurous than taking the tried and tested method. It might provide more interesting reading for you as someone who is merely observing but I wouldn't describe MDPV as an interesting or particularly enjoyable high. Maybe the Stuffmonger tan stuff would be, I'll never know.

I really miss Ronaldo, the basshunter thread and euro fashion thread were my favourite all-time BL threads (that I can remember ;) )

I just got 3 grams in the mail today Ive been on and off it for 5 months now. theres something about blowing out a ridiculous huge cloud of pv smoke its so good. I just keep ordering the stuff.

Im getting bored of it though its hurting my social life. social circle has been heavily fragmented due to paranoid conspiracy theories, clandestine vape sessions, secret hideouts, bizarre rumours, absurd delusions and just overall dumbassery. its funny we all still hang out with eachother but its always 'secret' 2 ppl only, no n00bs allowed, disconnect the internet phone shut all the blinds dont answer the door dont make the foil crinkle so the neighbor doesnt hear. its still fun but mostly just stressful and absurd. They should just ban the stuff already so social circle can go back to ketamine alcohol coke 2C-I type of parties where loudness and ruckus was accepted. hah.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any PeeVe themed music? Ive scoured the net and did not find much at all. Started making my own PV themed music. If you have produced any tracks yourself or know of any PEEV inspired music share me a link hah, Im deeply interested.

I crafted this during a half waking haze 6 days in.
