MDPV Megathread 4 - Egosyntonics R Us

When I was abusing PV + benzos I didn't notice how fast my tolerance to both had risen, by the time I had to go through benzo withdrawal it was pretty obvious and no fun at all.

Its a pretty nasty cycle to get caught up in, I'd really advise not to go any further if its just giving you problems.
 
I have never experienced sure a strong reside to redose of anything. Compared to mephedrone for instance this is easily 10x more for me, probably more :|


I was even contemplating it after I had come down a little last night!!! (although I had had a fuck load of benzos and a few beers).


PV definitely seems to be my achilles heel (well... worst achilles heel).

The urge to redose is just as high as with coke for me, it took a lot of comedowns from hell/arguments with my gf to be able to control myself.

When I tried Mephedrone I had no desire to redose whatsoever after a bomb, that's why I never saw the appeal and didn't understand why more people weren't PV addicts when everyone started abusing the new legal stims.

MDPV is way more compulsive than the cathinones IME. Loads of benzos thrown in isn't gonna help with willpower really.
 
A mephedrone bomb for me was a few let down, just felt fucked rather than anything. snorted is the way to get some severe long term health problems ;)

Anyway back to MDPV and how amazing/bad it is.

Any dose response curves for the different kind of administrations? Not that I will touch it again...
 
it is easy to say you'll avoid it but MDPV is everywhere especially in legal highs. A lot of people have probably consumed it without realizing it.
for example AM HI CO doves contain it, Ivory wave contains it (amongst other similar cathinones) and so on.
MDPV is cheap and potent and therefore widespread.

Certainly a moody ol' sod that there stroppy triumvirate of Messrs Dee, Pee & Vee. Can kinda relate to the benzos and peevee combo cos it's my bestest buddy too, Flip. For the first 18 hours or so anyway - stop needing benzos once I hit Pixie Ville, Think you may be in a similarish boat to me regards wanting to be in that special PeeVee Place and skip all the faffing about with over-stimulation and insane heartbeats and the like.

No shortcuts I've found though - I''ve just gotta keep on chipping away at that saturation point. Then it's like a light being switched on and I'm up and running (and ranting and raving, and possibly drooling), I <3 PV... but I really <3 PeeVee from around 18-80 hours or so - before that it's too wired and jittery and after that it's all downhill rapidly (and often surprisingly smoothly). That sweet spot is succulent though <3

It's a bit of a pixiiesque quest for me - I've got me theme and I'm sticking with it :p - go catch the (Mostly Deranged) PixieVixen and dodge the deadly perils along the way. Sort of 8)

Ahem. Leaving the mythical beasties behind for a moment, it is most definitely a fiendish fucker - well up there with speed/meth and coke/crack (or Mama and Papa Pee Vee as I tend to think of them) in the mad fiending stakes for me. Which maybe isn't quite so great with my history and fondness for extended stim jaunts. It's fiending with a point though - that's what makes it do different to me. Unlike speed/meth and (especially) coke/crack there is a decent sweet spot to aim at. And it lasts for days rather than a few moments.

Meh, De Powdered Vittles are winning again - completely lost my track. Probably for the best - I think it was intended as some kinda support for FT and ended up a peevee ramble. Again. Popping back to Pixie Ville complete with imminently arriving Mightily Delayed Proper Visitors 8o

what pharmalogic mechanism do you propose for sores on feet? pressor effect vasoconstriction leading to ischemia and necrosis?....thats all I can think of, and if so, you need to get your CV health checked, as its pressor effect doesnt seem any worse (ime, milder) then other stimulants.

I agree with these people.

Smoking is the most brutal way of dosing it for me - even more so than IVing it, in my book. And IViing it's not such a good move either. But possibly better than smoking it - and I even enjoy the taste :D:o

Smoking peevee = say goodbye to a week minimum, and say hello to Madness Down in PixieVille and all the strangeness and wonders to be found therein. Stick to oral or nasal dosing for even more bang fer yer buck with greatly reduced uberfiend and less of the (occasionally (temporarily) alarming) side-effects. It's one of the few times I kinda regret doing a drug - not the peevee (cos it's lush <3) but definitely the smoking of the peevee cos I become Uberfiend. For weeks at a stretch :\

/exhales a lung full of stinky peevee smoke - from 5mg ticklers sending me silly to 30mg+ bong rips in a lil over 24 hours isn't too bad going =D:|

as far as I am concerned MDPV is a cathinone, it is beta keto amino compound. it is difficult to say it is the methylenedioxy analogue of pyrovaleronone as that has a para methyl group like mephedrone.
I don't like the stuff, I feel it is really missing a lot, with crappy mild euphoria followed by being drained really, not worth it IMHO I haven't tried seeking the insanity binge madness magic point after 40hrs without sleep. Wernher von Braun said "what goes up must come down" -however I feel cheated by the amount of up in relation to the down and I haven't touched the stuff for at least 5 years. it is perhaps OK for getting stuff done without it getting in the way but there are much better alternatives for that.

People who like it should stock up now because it will almost certainly be banned by June /july in the UK (looks like class A too)
 
You obviously know a lot more about chemistry than me (not surprising!). Is it looking at class A because of its chemical similarity with MDMA or something else?
 
I have never tried doing PV straight, usually I just go it in the evenings. I think I have gone 4-5 days without sleep at most and by that point things start getting Really werid, not bad just like you are in alice and wonderland. Strange because when day comes around you dont feel tired...

because it is very addictive, leads to psychotic episodes in certain users, and because it is blamed (partially incorrectly) for the severe problems ivory wave and similar bath salts have caused in Ireland. it is easier to justify categorizing it with cocaine and methamphetamine rather than other milder stimulants Also unlike bzp it has no commercial uses and no one lobbying for it. Its a shame because used with a bit of sense MDPV can be pretty innocuous.

What kind of a dose regeime do you use with these massive binges 8o
 
I got .1x2 in the post today and I done most of .1 with a couple of pals, and I was pretty much underwhelmed, no real urge to redose and as I am trying not to drink I was pretty glad when it wore off as stims make me mad for lushing. Maybe it was a bad batch or I was a little too cautious, not wanting to start collapsing all over the street, but I think it might be an idea to have it about for weddings and such.
 
Just a quick question, do any of you guys who have used PV daily for a while actually get any positive effects from the high anymore?
