MDPV Megathread 10: Stuffandnonsensemonger

I've had Ivory Wave in the US in the spring of 2011 that was definately MDPV mixed with some -caine local anesthetic, I'm sure that the composition changed at whim though, so really the stuff you had could have been anything.

This would have been 09-10 maybe slight chance 08 when I had it so likely it was MDPV.. Disgusting shit anyway whatever it was.. we bumped a line each I was in awful shape for the rest of the day and didn't feel right for days after

It took me a while to like pv, it's definately an acquired taste, first time I bought it I really didn't enjoy it, way too jittery.

After a few trials though it became a favourite.

yer around then ivorywave ultra got me off a oz speed habit down to a 2g of that stuff it was lovely miss it

I think I'm just substituting alcohol in place of mdpv. :/

Drinking again tonight.

Lesser of two evils I suppose (at least for me... so far).

Wonder how quasi is doing...

I'm sorry to hear that brimz. What do you mean by MOF?

I agree drinking is not the answer. But for now, a couple of beers each night is seemingly less harmful than obssessing over (and eventually reordering) mdpv. The beer is keeping me stable somehow.

Obviously this is not the correct way to handle this issue but for the mean time it must suffice. Ultimately I must address the reason why I'm always self medicating. I never really have beat my addiction... cause I'm always just replacing one addiction with another.

Multiple organ Failure directly linked to his alcoholism .

I hate the terms relapse n Clean .

We were not dirty n relapse is such a guilt trip it's not a word 4 us . :)

I self medicate n it turns out i get the type of medicine i need 4 my mind as i have nearly lost a limb ?

It's a mess . there r good folk in the field but burnout is common . Says it all.

I have a GP who is a very curt & quite Rude guy but he is a Pro. i need that strong person otherwise i will just use em as a way to get more drugs .

I never respond to the "i will be yer friend" school .

That is just shite training imo. With complex dual diagnosis addicts like me n u we need specialists .

They are a breed that may soon be extinct . So if ya can find one use em .

Dual diagnosis. I've heard that so many times but I truly don't believe I've been properly diagnosed yet. I'm a mess and a drug addict, that is all I know.

And I could definitely use the help of a specialist who truly wants to help. I've seen a few of them over the years but the advice is always the same: I'm suppose to quit all drug use for an extended period of time and THEN address the other psychological issues I'm dealing with.

WTF. So I'm suppose to suppress and ignore all my problems and successfully quit taking drugs fora long time so that I can then get help for the reasons why I'm taking drugs in the first place. Doesn't this seem illogical or is it just me? This line of thinking leaves me so confused and lost that don't know what to do.

I need help straightening out my psychological and/or chemical imbalances first and I'm positive I will get my substance abuse under control. But I cannot find a specialist willing to work with me so I continue searching for answers my own way.

Ai yi yi. I need help.

i go to a drugs support charity project. They offer all kinds of support and programs imaginable. I have to stop using at least some of my substances before Id consider going to see a psych. I have a dual diagnosis worker who is helping me with my substance reduction and mental health issues, i also have a one to 1 key worker, a counsellor, and group CBT, thers loads of other stuff too. Ask your GP about a referal to one of these places. Its a long process, but it does really help.

Thank you for the advice. I'll have to look into something like that. Hopefully I can find something similar (charity or at least geared towards low income).

Ivory Wave made me lose my mind on more than one occasion. Even reading the word makes me shudder.
