MDPV degradation

do you think it would be feasible to store mdpv in powder form for about a year without serious degradation? and how long could i store it in a solution of vodka? do you think a 1mg to ml of vodka would work ?
 
Should be fine kept as powder as far as I know. Every now and again small amounts of the original tan MDPV (the really good one that's not been commercially available since circa 2006) turn up and they're still perfectly good. Probably not so good in solution longterm but I'm not too sure on that. My peevee is lucky to last a week :D

The B&D Chemical Storage Guide and The Solutions: Solubility & Stability Mega-Thread over in PD may be of use. MDPV isn't a psyche but I'm sure someone over there will be able to tell you if it's not mentioned already.
 
PV is not stable in solution.

It rapidly begins to degrade and takes on an odd odor...
 
i had a look in those threads and no one really talks about long term storage.

so if it degrades in a liquid how to people dose it? i have a fairly good scales a mack 0.002 would they be good enough ?
 
They probably won't be dead on but I trust my cheap eBay 0.001mg scales enough for MDPV - overdoing it generally isn't pleasant but isn't generally harmful either. Maybe err on the side of caution or weigh double or triple (cos it should be more reliable at those weights) and divvy by eye. For liquid measurement I'd make up smallish amounts as needed (enough for a week or whatever) rather than the whole lot at once.
 
I've noticed with the last sack of MDPV I've come across, that the powder seems to clump up overtime. My friend has only had it for less than 3 months and I remember at first we didn't have to cut it up or anything, just sniff away. Now its all clumpy, quite a bitch to chop up with a card. I couldn't tell you if the potency has changed though since this was the first batch I have ever sampled. The MDPV has been kept in its original package, basically in a baggy inside of another zip lock baggy in room temperature. The color is the same white as it originally was. As far as smell, I don't remember how it originally smelled. Its just the texture that has changed.
 
What would an estimate be for long term storage in a closed plastic bag be? How about in sealed capsule? I don't want to be stuck with bunk pills but mild loss of potency is no biggie. I know old pills of many compounds retain most of their potency after decades but will I still be able to use the MDPV say 10 years in the future?

Sorry to bump this old thread but in terms of price per dose and the moderate effects profile I experience along with the uniqueness of the compound in terms of structure for testing, I would love to be able to have MDPV for a pick-me-up for the future. Roughly 6 hours of energy is perfect duration, even though I would rather have adderall, rambling now, gotta do physics. Someone answer though please, I would like to be able to get a microscoop and just cap a bunch of this and be able to have for those demanding times, like now.

Also while I am at it, thoughts on jwh-250 sublingual in ethanol? I would also love to be able to cap the 250 and have some stoning pills but those fucking cannabinoids don't like being eaten.
 
Also on an unrelated note, is there any country that recognizes the importance of humanity and individualism as opposed to money and control? I would love to live somewhere where everyone could just do anything they wanted without having to worry what people think.

We are all human and shouldn't let others limit us, is Sweden a shit hole or is there anywhere really that is civilized in the world with equality?
 
Before researching anything on this subject, I dissolved ~500mg of MDPV in 500ml of filtered tap water. Then I read that it degrades pretty fast, so I'm gonna go ahead and store it in the freezer. I'm disappointed to say the least, but at least I will get to test out the potency after the fact. I'll report back to ya guys sometime in the near future.
