Evening all,
I've checked the MD and antibiotics thread and no joy.
Having a mare round on Friday and just been put on 5 days of Metronidazole (Flagyl) - an anti biotic. I know alcohol is a massive no with this med due to causing vomiting etc, so I was wondering if anyone had ever tried MD whilst having this anti b in their system.
In the past I have used MD when taking meds such as amoxicillin/Doxycycline with no issues. I usually just take less MD. Strangely I find my tolerance to MD has reversed now and less seems to blow my tits off.
It's not a definite night of getting on the Mandy - just wanted an alternative to booze and am checking for any dangerous interactions.
