mdma wile on herceptin???

after having breast cancer, i just finished a chemo therapy and now looking forward to the summer.
a summer full of festivals and dance events.
I will be on herceptin/ trastuzumab until this year is complete.
itching for some mdma! specially for the summer!
has anybody an idear or expirience with mixing these two???
cant find any info.

Congrats on surviving breast cancer! What a beautiful thing to experience something like MDMA after going through such an experience.

What are the drugs you taking for? This may clue you in to their categories, and I'm sure you can find out what drug family they are in. In some cases, it's hard to find an exact example of someone who has done the MDMA + (some prescription) combo, but often they are in categories that perform specific functions (such as oxycodone and hydrocodone for example- would yield similar advice when mixing with MDMA).

Has your MD given you toe OK to have alcohol, caffeine or other such elective legal drugs? I'd be cautious, but by the summer you will (hopefully) be doing a lot better as it is.

ooo CONGRATS!! i have no advice but i really wanted to say congrats on surviving! my mom survived 11 years and its a great success story. :D

It looks like one of the side effects with this drug is its potential to cause cardiac dysfunction in ~7% of users. It might not be in your best interest to take stimulants unless you are sure your cardiac function is normal. Are you getting regular check-ups with a cardiologist?

Personally, if it were me, I wouldn't do it. Give your body the best chance to fight the cancer. I honestly am not sure what kind of reaction you would have but its only ONE year right? Beat this thing and you have many years to enjoy MDMA. I wish you all the best.

Ok first let me say that I'm no DR and all I can offer you is my OPINION. I've never really heard of your treatment before so I googled it. Here's some of the side effects and risks listed for your medication:

Herceptin can cause serious heart problems, including:
A decline in heart function
Irregular heartbeats
High blood pressure
Serious heart attack
Death

Taking Herceptin Can Result in Serious and Potentially Deadly Lung Problems, Including:
A severe shortness of breath
Fluid in or around the lungs
Weakening of the valve between the heart and the lungs
Too little oxygen in the body
Swelling of the lungs
Scarring of the lungs

Now, here are some of the common side effects:
Low white blood cell counts
Diarrhea
Fatigue
Low red blood cell counts
Swelling of the mouth lining
Weight loss
Upper respiratory tract infections
Fever
Low platelet counts
Swelling of the mucous membranes
Swelling of the nose and throat
Change in taste
Fever
Nausea
Vomiting
Infusion reactions
Diarrhea
Infections
Increased cough
Headache
Fatigue
Shortness of breath
Rash
Low white and red blood cell counts
Muscle pain


Now having read that I understand that every patient reacts differently and you may or may not experience or deal with any of these things but just reading some of those would give me cause for concern with MDMA as well as really most substances.

Personally I'd say don't risk it. As Mesial mentioned above let yourself beat this thing completely. Get healthy. Then bask in the glory that is MDMA.
