(MDMA, various doses) - Abused - Lesson Learnt / Tolerance & Loss of Magic already!
Hi all, I know this has been covered countless times already on this site and everyone knows about the loss of magic through too much MDMA or MDMA abuse bla bla bla, but thought SWIM would share his story with you all.
SWIM has always been an occasional drug user using only on sociable occasions since his early teens (14/15). SWIM only ever used to indulge in weed and cocaine, that was until last November (9 months ago) when SWIM had discovered for the 1st time the beauty of MDMA.
It was VERY easy to get hold of and I mean VERY and I'm talking about MDMA Crystals, the purest of pure not pills. First time SWIM had tried it was by himself one night, was just curious about it as have heard many stories, SWIM had also done a LOT of research into the drug so he knew the right dosage etc.
SWIM's first experience was rather pleasant, it definitely wasn't his best experience as most others have quoted, but REALLY enjoyed it none the less. With this new drug in mind and absolutely loving its effects it had on SWIM (empathetic feelings, closeness, sociable, heightened senses) straight away knew that SWIM was going to LOVE the next few months. Now bearing in mind that the MDMA (Crystal) was so easily accessible, and I mean just as quick and easy to purchase an apple down the local supermarket! SWIM used to roll week in and week out whenever he can since the first time he tried it as he loved it that much! Probably the most break he took was a week and half and that was it!! SWIM had read up on loss of magic back when he first tried it and didn't think anything of it, ignored the warnings and thought 'that will never happen to me, well at least not until 10 years down the line' being as naive as I was I continued to roll, at parties, introduced it to a lot of friends, at gigs, nights out etc. and absolutely caned the sh*t out of the substance. My friends knew when to stop and have breaks and space the rolls, but I didn't care and kept going and going. Some weeks SWIM even done 2-3 grams over a period of 2 days! he really didn't know enough was enough.
Anyway 9 months down the line today after taking MDMA for so long without any break SWIM is suffering quite bad, the rolls are not ANYTHING like they were months ago, hardly give him a buzz at all, SWIM would drop 400-500mg of MDMA and only feel a slight tingling, rather than the full on 'zone' and 'loved up closeness' feeling he used to get, SWIM wouldn't even be jaw clenching or eye wiggling! just a 45 minute edgy feeling and then feel horrible for the next 2 days and I mean HORRIBLE! (great loss of appetite, slight insomnia, horrible depression) SWIM gets quite bad depression especially in the mornings, is suffering severe memory loss even writing this article he is struggling, and as a lot you may be aware is suffering from awful brain zaps!
MDMA changed SWIM's life for the good, it has made him a great sociable person who he never was before and gave him great confidence (of which he never had). Also being a house DJ (Tech House at that) SWIM has improved his music collection and loves music even MORE now as SWIY's experience probably knows!
With all that in mind SWIM has learned the hard way about MDMA abuse and is now suffering for it, people (mainly newcomers) please be aware this drug is NOT to be taken lightly and NEEDS to be respected in order to enjoy it to the fullest, space rolls, keep fit and healthy, don't over do it! Trust me it really isn't nice.
Anyway after all the rolling SWIM has done over the past 9 months he has decided to give it a break, a long break at that. SWIM doesn't want to give up MDMA as he still thinks its amazing, but rather make a full recovery and then respect it (that's if the magic even comes back!).
I know people are probably thinking its tolerance through the insane usage, which I agree it is but I believe its both tolerance and magic loss.
Any input about recovery (tips, time, etc) and thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. Also after the long break SWIM has, he will be trying the St John's Wort therapy to see if this will bring the magic back, SWIM will report back once this has done.
Remember people respect the drug and it will respect you, don't abuse it and you'll have a great time
.
Happy Rolling.
