Has anyone here ever used Molly during the post-acute phase of withdrawal (specifically opiates)? I was on Kratom leaf for about two months and am still experiencing some unpleasant feelings emotionally (no longer panic attacks or RLS like I had been, thankfully). I have .13g of 98% pure MDMA and know that pure MDMA can have therapeutic properties.

Please only respond if you've tried this or know the science behind it.

I've been clean from the leaf for 49 days.

98%? Sounds made up.

You could do it, but I would recommend to wait until you're back to your old self before you get back on drugs again. MDMA has quite some potential for therapy, yes.. but it's mainly a drug. Unless your using it under a licensed MDMA therapist, you probably shouldn't expect it to completely turn your life around. It can give you some great insight, and really add a new perspective on life... but it's not going to fix any problems going on in your life, only you can do that. The great thing about MDMA is that it can help you see your own problems, and confront them in a comforting way. When you deal with your problems on shrooms.. well it's not so gentle haha

The main question is will it set me back; I'm not expecting to take it and be magically cured, I just wanna use some positive introspection to push me in the right direction.

This is probably of complete irrelevance but i'm going to say it anyway. When I go out binge drinking I now have an inherent desire to smoke cigarettes and will quite easily smoke 10+ cigarettes in a night on the lash. While sober, I have no current addiction to cigarettes and can and will go significant time until smoking again (typically when I next drink). The few times i've gone out drinking and ended up taking MDMA while drunk have completely curbed my drink-smoking addiction I have seemed to develop. I've been drunk, smoking regularly, ended up spontaneously taking MDMA out of a lack of judgement (alcohol does that) and once the MDMA kicks in - I no longer have a desire to smoke at all during the evening. Even when people ask me to go outside for a cigarette i'll quite simply decline as it no longer appeals to me.

Maybe MDMA has some potential to change cognitive patterns of addiction when used correctly.
