Mdma taste?

Im currently trying to determine what is in the ingredient in this pill. Does mdma taste similar to meth? I can tell the contents of this pill are amphetamine, but it doesnt feel like mdma. I imagine it would be similar because the only difference in chemical structure is the methylenedioxy. I have tasted amphetamine and methamphetamine so im well aquainted with the taste(i was perscribed adderall witch has been switched to vyvanse). I cant tell if its meth because i consumed 150 mgs of levomethamphetamine 5 hours earlyer witch resulted in a lot of stimulation. So, back to my main question. Is the taste of mdma similar the meth?
 
All drugs have a chemical taste, so anything from asprin to piperazine to vitamin B to methylone to mephedrone to 2C-B to PMMA to MDPV to anyother of 100s of research chemicals that have recently come out.


Most adulterants in ecstasy pills are the same ingredients as found in "bath salts"
 
A lot of drugs, if not most, have a very bitter taste. Not to mention there are certain pill binders and other ingredients you can add to a pill to give it that taste you are talking about. Overall it's not a reliable way of testing your pills at all.


Your taste buds can be fooled, a reagent test can not ;)
 
x tastes bad, thats all if its pleasant or bearable its not it... thats as far as illl go

Not very successfully, some chemicals can turn a reagent black or what have you but it's obviously not the same color as MDMA. Some research chemicals like 6-APB or MDAI can fool the marquis, but if you had the simons it would be able to weed them out.

Well, no. As arrogant as this seems, im really sure that the taste is from the drug and not the bindings. Because with adderall ir you can taste amph but not very strongly because of the glucose. With crushed adderall xr, i taste the same amph taste only stronger as there is an absence of pill bindings in xr. I also tasted the same taste in a previous pill i got that ended up being meth. I doubt that two pills i got from totally different sources have the same pill bindings, and those same bindings are in adderall. And like i said, i taste it strongest in adderall xr witch has relativly low bindings. The taste is bitter, but theres more to it. Like, you could say an apple taste sweet, but theres more to the taste then just sweet. I just cant describe it better than bitter because theres nothing that tastes like it. Like how you could say an apple tastes fruity, i cant say amph tastes adderally, its not helpful at all in helping you figure out what im talking about. Im not saying your wrong about drugs tasting similar, im just saying theres more to the taste than 'bitter'
 
mdma tastes very, very bitter. coincidentally, meth does, too. and, as has been stated, a HUGE number of other drugs taste bitter as well (e.g., paracetamol). i think the chances that you can identify MDMA by taste are slim. get a test kit.

however, the taste test is good for something. if you material doesn't taste the least bit bitter, you can pretty much rule out MDMA. (Within reason, you could still have low-dose MDMA or a poorly-mixed pill with MDMA). e.g., i was piped once and the shitty pipe pills didn't taste bitter.
 
It does taste shockingly nasty imo, but im not prepared to contribute to this discussion any further, because everytime this subect crops up we no the correct answer: Do not judge just by taste...

Im confident there are/can be many nasty tasty things in pills, MDMA/MDA is an exceptionally horrific taste, that is all i can say on the subject.
