MDMA solution Ideas...

Hi guys,

Apologies if this is somewhere on Bluelight already, I have done a few checks but my question is very specific, and I really rate the chemistry knowledge going around these parts... (Mods - can understand if gets moved or merged or just thrown on the fiery furnace)

Simply; I want to make an MDMA "liquid" type thing that I can dose with relative ease (a la pipette) and is fairly stable - the MDMA in question is, I believe, fairly pure crystal (no idea on %, guessing over 80% but I know it is very hard to tell, 150mg is a hefty dose)....

Could I simply dissolve in alcohol (was thinking vodka / gin or would something purer be better? Any ideas?) and then measure dosage by amount put in (i.e. if dissolve 1000mg in 1000ml then 1 ml = 1mg? (and if 2g/3g in 1 litre then 1ml = 2/3mg ? I have mg scales and such...

Edit: Please don't flame me too hard if MDMA is not soluble in alcohol! (although am pretty sure it is...!)

MDMA dissolves in water, therefore dissolving in vodka will surely work as it is 60% water. I would go for spirits, cheaper, less alcohol intake per hit (you don't want to do 150 mL of pure ethanol to go on a proper roll (i wouldn't even want to drink 150 mL of vodka, but that is just me ))

I don't think MDMA would degrade quickly in such a solution, but this is just intuition, i have no data to back this up.

You can calculate the final concentration by dividing the amount of MDMA you put in by the volume of liquid you are using; thus potency in mg / mL = [amount of MDMA] / [volume of liquid], as you say.

Yea I don't know how that molly vodka would taste either. I might opt for something like coconut rum or goldschlager (cinnamon rum).

But definitely up the concentration as much as you can so you don't have to drink much. I avoid combining booze and X at all costs though and this would be no expception.

Really though I don't see why you wouldn't just keep it as powder and do fun dips as you desire. The taste isn't that bad especially once you get used to it and beats the hell out of combining the taste with booze (which could upset your stomach if you shoot it down real fast, especially after a few times). Plus you can let the powder sit in your mouth for fast absorption.

So I don't really see what the benefit of a solution is outside of it being a method for concealing the substance. But a small baggie is very easy to hide.

Cheers for the replies guys - trust me in this instance needs to be in a solution otherwise why the hell would I do this?!!?!!

Lovin the suggestions on type of alcohol although I think am too tempted by a McDizzle G&T...

Have had plenty of experience w/crystal MDMA, normally have a beer or 2 a la - anyhow gonna aim for a mega concentrated solution (dissolve 2/3 grams into 250ml or even less) - will do a test first, only thing is am worried about the even distribution - will defo shake before administration!

Will do 3:1 water alcohol also as have seen that this could help...

Once it dissolves, you don't have to worry about uneven distribution (this is true for any solution on any scale of interest for drug dosing)

Water is fine for short term. You just need the alcohol there for long term storage, on the scale of month+ , to prevent bacterial action.

Wicked, thanks TheAzo, gonna test a little first in small solution to check works etc. not for long term storage but will do alcohol mix also -

Normally just make gel caps or eat it (love a good 150mg bomb ) just gotta be doin this! If anyone interested in results let me know and I can report back although as pointed out not really gonna be neccesary for most people

Tell me the reason you want to do that?
